Interesting design, ability is complex but if it gets in it will open quite a few possibilities, I think...
And I also don't think spell damage should only belong to

The only way this could be better is if it had some PC and was Immortal as well.

Still, good atk, health, ability to bypass most shields, ability to do double damage, AND reusable creature control ain't bad.

Not bad at all.  The only downside I can think of is that my opponent could run them.

creatures can only have one active ability.  dealing spell damage is an active ability, lobo'd/replaced with liquid shadow/etc.

Unless spell damage was part of the ability.  You have to activate it to start spell damage.

so you're saying that the ability is considered spell damage, but the creature's attack is not spell damage? or is it a one-time-use ability that then turns the creature to deal spell damage if it is triggered?

in any event, you should start making a habbit to elaborate in the notes section.

If I understood it correctly, it means the creature doesn't deal spelldamage unless the effect is triggered. Then the creture deals (6) spelldamage for one turn.
I also got that wrong though. Was just about to post how op this is.

But still, it's slightly too much on the strong side in my opinion. 3/4 for 4 with 2 : 1 damage would be a decent card already. I'd up the cost by 1.

So does this ability cause the card to deal spell damage for one turn or is it permanent after that?
Also, does the spell damage kick in when the spell is activated or does it only trigger if the target dies?

Hrm...The upgrade MIGHT demand a slight cost increase, but I do like the ability to choose wheather or not to do Spell damage=keeps this card from killing you if your opponent throws out a reflective shield.

I agree that the upgraded version of this card is a bit too powerful, considering it also deals 2 damage with the targeting skill. I would raise the cost of the upgraded version to 6 , or lower its base attack to 4.
