Greetings, I'm Krikk but my in game name is the krikk. I've played Elements some time ago, but decided to return and created new acc.

This is the deck I'm using atm (one of the few actually):

Also I'd like to ask you a question. Since I'm relatively new to PVP games. Is this thing normal?

I know that phase dragons have 8 attack power and upgraded ones have 10. But these had 12 out of nothing.
Any ideas what may have happened?

Your opponent used a card which is called: Shard of Wisdom. It's a rare card. http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Shard_of_Wisdom
It's a buff to immortal creatures. The damage also turns into spell damage, like Lightning for example.
Have fun with elements.

Maybe but I didn't see him use shard maybe I missed it.

And I don't want  to use pendulums since they work randomly (or it's just me), and the point is not to get too many chrysaoras on the field since they can get down easily. But thanks for the tip anyway.

They don't work randomly.

scenario:
You have a death mark. In your first turn you have 2 water pillars and 1 Water pendulum. = 3 water quanta and 1 death quanta.
Second turn: You play one Chrysaora, one Poison and one more water pillar. = 3-1+3=5 water quanta and 1-1+1+1=2 death quanta.
Your pendulum is switching to your mark, every second turn.
