ART: michelini SOURCE IDEA: Hyroen NOTES: While Dominion is played, the owner may activate the skills of all creatures on the field, of theirs and of the opponent, so long as they have the specific quanta the skill requires. Skills that require targeting function just as they would normally. Despite being able to use skills of the opponent's creatures, this does not mean the skills behave as if the creatures were yours. That is to say, as an example, if you played Dominion and tried to use the skill of the opponent's Chrysaora, you would add 1 Poison counter to yourself, despite paying for and using the skill yourself. Dominion, while in play will increase the maximum HP of any creature whose ability is activated by any player, not just yourself. Designed for synergy with Mitosis. Thoughts? SERIES:

This plus gravity shield! I love the potential synergies. If a life/grav combo does come up, AdrenaGuard + this. Give some love to the guard!

What do you guys think about the balance? Should I raise the cost by 1 for both? Should I playtest this card?

Because of the possibility of completely taking advantage of opposing abilities, +1 cost wouldn't hurt, and playtesting is always good.

Would using the skills of an opponent's creature trigger the skill delay effect(ie. once you activate a skill it can't be used till next turn), on the same note, if the opponent uses a creatures skill, are you able to use it or is it also disabled till the next turn?

It should be coded such that if when I use a skill of your creature, you should be able to use your creature's skill on your next turn as well, and of course, vice-versa.

Each activated skill should be coded such that it is normally able to be activated once per each player's turn (except in special occasions).

Allowing the owner to use the opponents own abilities and skills... interesting. Balance is a tricky thing to predict on this, but I would wager that it is going to be a very significant effect...

This is going to seriously mess up burrowers btw. Since you can simply unburrow them at will. In effect, it a may as well pull that ability off altogether.

... and those poor sniper-saders will be forced to shoot their friends in the head... could be rather comical, or very dark, depending on how you look at it.

The other issue I have is that this will significantly favor rainbow type decks since otherwise the owner will not likely have the right type of quanta available to use the abilities.

The card is definitely a fun concept, but I think a bit of work is still needed to keep it from being too situational.
