This whole thing is very experimental. I was thinking a lot about various issues concerning the cards. Now they're at least ready to be shown
The idea behind the card: I like the advancement in things over time. To get the Archmage, you have to run through two steps before, otherwise it's not possible to obtain him. If you do, it shall be worth the effort...
Why Entropy?Randomness. Accident. Fluke. The Aspirant isn't skilled at all and has to learn. He causes 'chaos', which he can just direct a little bit towards his enemy. By spending
the player 'pays' for the creature's experiments.
Why Earth afterwards?Because the Apprentice achieved some steadiness after his early studies. He got solid ground, nothing is moving on it's own, everything he deals with is stable. Fire, Aether, Air...they are volatile. The training just consists of focussing on the direction of his efforts. By spending
the player 'pays' for the creature's period of studying.
Why finally Light?The Wizard is wise, gained vast knowledge, but is also calm and patient. Light. He can alter energy or use his power to assist his companions by tapping higher forces.
