ETG / TV Tropes Update

Greetings, Elementals and Tropers.

As you may know, Elements has a TVTropes page. While it does summarize the game nicely it's a little bare at the moment and out of touch with the current patch (e.g. New Shards can be quite the Base Breaker). As a result, me and Absol (and furball) would like to start a small project in which we revamp the page a bit.

So how can I help?

Simple : If you think you've found a trope fitting for something in ETG, add it to the Trope Page. If you're not registered on TVTropes and want to suggest tropes, you can post them on this thread.

I hope to see some troping done here. Let's get started!
Base Breaker : The Elemental Shards. Some people think they're imbalanced and should be nerfed, others think they should be removed entirely, and some want to rework them as in-elemental cards rather than Other-type.

PvP : A variation - while you can Random PvP players and selectively PvP friends, the organized PvP of the game happens on the official forums, with some events like Tournaments offering reward codes to the winners.

Metagame : Present in any organized PvP.

This post will be for my ideas

* WhenAllYouHaveIsAHammer: Rush decks are both the simplest and easiest to build. They also take down the elders quickly and reliably. Even a mono deck with 6 dragons and 24 pillars puts up a decent pounding.
* GameBreakingBug: Purify and reflect shields cause desynchronization
* BlessedWithSuck: Gravity's dragon has insane amounts of hit points, making it hard to kill, but also makes it one of the more expensive dragons, and it is even countered by Gravity's own elemental shield. This literally can happen if a user has a weight shield up and buffs the opponent's creatures to make them too large to hit.
* ShockAndAwe: Shockwave, lightning, thunderstorm. All (sans thunderstorm) are potent creature control spells.

Would it be possible to divide each individual element into perhaps "characters", and have tropes relating to each element's things?

Perhaps for easier viewing/managing?

Possibly, but we'd be limited to physical/ability tropes - unlike MTG, ETG doesn't delve very deep when it comes to connecting elements with personality traits. (We also lack main fictional characters to base of the core values of the Elements from, unless you want to use RP characters and fanfics like 12Realms.)

I think no fandom, please. Only official works.
I'll list the overview of the 12 elements, but that's it. Most of the tropes come from the interaction of cards, so dividing things up will make it harder.

On the side note, all tropes suggested added. Feel free to check.

It's easy to understand. Just use its formatting, even here. I'll just copypaste stuff while correcting some substantial mistake. Try to get the syntax right to make my job easier.

*ThereIsNoKillLikeOverKill Skyblitz, which doubles all airborne creatures attacks. Taken {{UpToEleven}} if used on Diving creatures.
*BoringButPratical - Dimensional Shield [[{{ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin}}blocks all attacks for 3 turns]]. It also happens to be one of the most annoying cards in the game to face.
*LiterallyShatteredLives - Use Freeze and Shockwave on the same creature for this effect.

Fixed.
For Wiki Word, just type the trope name, all words caps, without space. It will be autoparsed into pothole.
