ART: artimies7 IDEA: artimies7, with OldTrees and some people in the chat. NOTES: This has some art that was fun to draw. Cardwise, I asked OT in his thread which element needed a card most. Water came up, so I did a duo Water | Time at the behest of the Chat group. Thematically, this is with the effect of water's eroding properties sped up with a bit of temporal finnery. Negative effects would denote delay, poison, gravity pull, etc. If your creature has more than one of those effects upon it, I suppose all of them might decrease, but that's not set in stone yet. It won't heal damage set upon it, that's for sure. Voodoo Doll doesn't require any changes to the ability, code-wise. They're still negative, but Voo is redirecting it toward its opponent. I suppose at my first real look at this, it could be considered a bit UP, but that's debateable. (Thus, debate.) SERIES:

Does the ability work as a buffer for effects to come? Example: Turtle Shield. Would it make the delay caused by it become 0, or only if it's already delayed make it 0.

Only if it's already delayed. Water cannot erode a rock that is not there, no matter how fast it goes.

The problem here is that I'm not sure what this Turtle shield is. I can't find it in the Cards section. Explain a bit.

No. But you can speed up the undelaying by having another copy of river monster out and using its ability on the first. It will, however, work to remove one Poison counter from itself.

Can you delay a weapon? It would be cool, though.
Flying weapons for sure, but in the permanent slot?

Besides, the ability says 'creature.'
