Does the unupped one works in both fields? I dont see the text very clear.
Note that this only affects your side and the effect is not applied to the opponent.
I love the idea, It´s awesome in lots of decks. Im thinking in Ball Lightnings Fractal decks, maybe mixed with Sundials and another stuff.
Interaction with aflatoxin: your opponent aflatoxins you and gives you a whole field of Malignant Cells. Then he plagues, pretty common scenario so far.
You now have the remaining 10 true cards of your deck diluted among 23 Malignant cells that you can't all play even if you wanted to, because you'll be out of creature slots on your side soon after you played any of them. So you'll draw creatures you can't play, Cells you can't play, and the enemy can fill your deck with even more Cells....
They go to the bottom of the deck, dont get mixed with it. If the opponent had no Malignant Cells then he would be dead anyway.
I think, at least.
Yes, there is no real abuse because:
One: Unless deck shuffling cards get added, there is no way that Life Cycle can be used against you in that manner.
Two: There is very few chances of that being used against you effectively. In most cases, it would end up like Nightmare but more expensive.
Three: A deck would have to be completely dependent on you having Life Cycle in order to work like that. Strategies should notwork like that.
Four: Anti deck-out. Need I say more?
Five: In the hypothetical case where Life Cycle is available, who is to say drawing power is not? If the owner of Life Cycle is anticipating, in the case of the upgraded of the upgraded, discarding cards, it is not far off he is packing heavy drawing power to shuffle through the deck.
