ART: IDEA: Drake_XIV NOTES: Sloth is a passive ability. Now this either acts as QC or CC. QC.  Obviously, it drains quanta. CC.  Target the opponent's creature.  If you do not own any quanta of its type, it's indefinitely delayed.  Well, until you get quanta that it can drain.  With the nature of delay, it will be able to drain quanta when delayed, thus removing it the next turn. You know what's odd? I actually had this exact same idea, except I called it "apathy". It was to make a creature have to use up one of their own element's quanta per turn to attack, otherwise they can't. And my affected the whole field but meh.

Idea I had. I actually very rarely tend to post my actual ideas as threads and develop them.

It's actually better vs nonrainbows since if you cast it on a frog in a mono life deck, that frog uses up one each turn to attack.

You target a creature let's say. The creature drains 1 from the owner of the creature every time it attacks. If there is no quanta to drain, it does not attack and is delayed a turn.

Now replace with or whatever other element for the above sentence.

yeah...'except the card says drains from the opponent. the creautre doesnt drain the owner of the creature, it drains the owner of the creature's opponent.

Huh. My bad. I was reading it wrong. I thought it was the owner of the card who got the quanta drained, not the player who doesn't own the card. That makes it really quite silly in my opinion. "Opponent" shouldn't be a word used in a card that can target things from both sides of the field as it leads to ambiguity.

Why am I so derpy today.
