The reasons I made this deck are simple.

I often lose to Miracle due to 1 sole reason - he Blesses his Pegasi. Blessed Pegasi are AWESOME.
I loved the little wing symbols you get when you Animate or Dive something.
I wanted to make a mono-Light deck that was very fast, made good use of Blessings, and used, but was not concentrated upon, animated Morning Glories.

Thus, I present to you my new mono-Deck:

HOLY WINGS

The strategy is simple, but powerful. This deck is solely based around dealing considerable damage to the opponent. Bless only ONE of your Pegasi and Dive it. You will see the results immediately, and it will be awesome. Use your spare quanta to dive the rest of your Pegasi, but use all your Blessings on one Pegasus.

You can completely switch gears with this deck and instead base your damage around flying Morning Glories if you sense powerful creature control.

Use this aggro deck against Level 3's to great success or against PvP opponents. I am currently 13 for 13 against Level 3s, even in the face of bad draws.

BTW, this deck is Mono because it only uses cards that cost Light or Other quanta. If a moderator disagrees, feel free to move it.

I have tested a blessed pegasus deck before, and it's pretty awesome. It was actually one of the decks I tested for my newbie guide. I ended up with the dragon version only because the entropy elder is pretty much an automatic loss with regular pegasi.

Well, at least you have your Morning Glories. But a newbie isn't expected to have 4 Morning Glories.

Yeah, this is more of a PvP deck than a level 3 farmer. It's super fun, and yes, the damage gets out of hand quickly.

In ealier game versions I loved the blessed Pegasus idea.
Otys could overwhelm it, and it can be paradoxed , rewinded and mutated.
You have a 1 creature strategy. That can be bad.
I still love Pegasus, otherwise, it would not be my avatar.
Didn´t try it together with Morning Glorys (had no Morning Stars and Animated weapon, now I have ).

I think so. No idea why he's carrying a sword instead of a spear, but I actually tried to look for a picture of a swordsman on Pegasus so I could incorporate the themes of Pegasus and Morning Glory.

I found 2 other pictures with a sword, one in an old book of mine, but a spear makes more sense for the Bellerophon story. And why has our Pegasus a horn on the head ? Pegasus is not a unicorn.

I'd just like to point out, primarily because I don't like it, that despite the mono-deck thread, this is in the wrong section.  Apparently the "define a mono-deck" thread was either ignored or discarded.


That said, I'd also like to point out that this deck would work perfectly well unupgraded as well, since Mark of Air totally = Flying Weapon.

Rage Potion and splashing fire gets pegasus hitting really hard really fast... 1 blessing and a rage potion gets you a 12/1 pegasus...

lol its not a horn its his wing. If you look under his head you can see the rest of the wing.

For the deck looks like a lot of fun, don't have four morning glories but will try it when I do.
