I've chosen to put the "target player" option because I would like to see new cards with a field mechanic, like suggested in this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,35326.0.html) thread, and fill opponents field it would be a nice concept to build.

Art [as said in chat] : Change Puppeteer to just the hand with strings extending down.  Change puppet to have strings line up with the bottom of puppeteer card art.  I know it is not critical, but I strongly suggest that change.  Puppeteer art is better [even if the puppet ones where full color, I think they are too...detailed to fit the aesthetic].

Name: Puppeteer and Puppetmaster

Card Text: Change puppetmaster text to: "Spawn a puppet/marionette under target players control."

I love the concept, and there could be an advantage to giving the enemy puppets [like AM+LS, and such].  That ability should be kept for sure.
The actual mechanics and balance will have to be commented on by someone more informed than I.

[EDIT]: While I like your idea SIGNIFICANTLY more...another direction to go with this card is "Gain control of target creature while puppeteer remains in play.  can be used once."

This would be a really fun deck to play, chaos power puppeteers. I dont really have any suggestions, but i do like the idea and mechanic of the card

I do have one question though, if you have multiple puppeteers, and one dies, do all the puppets generated by that puppeteer dead or do they all die or survive?

I assume that the puppets are "linked" to their respective puppeteers and only die if the "link" is broken (i.e. Reverse Time) or the respective puppeteer dies.

Thank you for your suggestion.
About the edit: Already exist cards with that effect in armory or forge

Blessing | Chaos Power costs 3 :light|1 :entropy for +3|+3
Puppeteer's damage per turn is Turn * Attack for a cost of 6 :darkness|7 :darkness + 2 :darkness per turn after the first.

Looks balanced. Although the casting cost does not impact the total cost much. Therefore the casting cost could be used for fine adjustment.
