The tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon (TOT or presque vu; French pronunciation: [pʁɛsk vy], from the French for "almost seen") is the failure to retrieve a word from memory, combined with partial recall and the feeling that retrieval is imminent

Silence in creature form, and Mitosis/Fractal could cause problem as stated above.

Also, what goes well with Silence? Ghostmare. God I can't even imagine how OP this could go lol.

Mitosis?
Fractal?
Fractal - card makers arch enemy

What do you suggest? Double the cost, immaterial or something else? Maybe be the skill might apply to you too.

Why not just use RT?
RT can't be abused by Fractal, and Eternity is easier to sabotage.

This isn't silence, it's card draw stopper. So ghostmare would be terrible combo

Actually, chaining "amnesias" the turn after Nightmaring GotP is just as effective as using a Silence after Nightmaring GotP. Chaining "amnesia" assures that the non-ghost to ghost ratio of the opponent's hand doesn't increase, so you don't need to play (waste the HP gain or what-not) another nightmare until your "amnesia" chain stops.

First of all: i totally love your art, Thalas.
Since i saw your Melusine, i loved the polished and dreamy look you give to your drawings!

Back to the card: it's OP with fractal even if it affects both players, since :time can always draw.
Immaterial is the most obvious suggestion, but i think it could work because the creatures are little and with low HP.
I would also suggest a different wording. Instead of
Code: [Select]
Amnesia (Sacrifice card)
Prevents both players from drawing a card from their decks next turn.
i  would use
Code: [Select]
Amnesia:
Sacrifice Jamais Vu to make both players skip a draw.
the reasons for this wording are:
  • more similar to Virus|Retrovirus, the other creatures with a "sacrifice: do something" ability
  • shorter, so you can eventually add Immaterial or other balancing effects
Another solution could be:
Code: [Select]
Amnesia:
Rewind Jamais Vu to make both players skip a draw.
This way you skips 2 draws, and you really need to use draw effects to use it effectively.
I don't know if it's too extreme, though. Maybe immaterial is the best solution.
