Your shield only reduces extra damage while this card is in play. This is obviously Earth's shard, and perfectly fits the theme of Earth and endurance. If your mark is , it raises your max HP as well as healing you. Stackable. SERIES:

This is still pretty OP. just 3 can bump a titanium shield up to 11, enough to protect against nearly anything, and earth has PAs to stop PC

Gravity already has a shard (in production) also this works insanely with BBs, furthermore it fits Earth better thematically

It's not fearsome with Titanium Shields, since you can always destroy them.
It's OP with Hope, Emerald Shield and Reflective Shield, because there is no way to destroy them.

Maybe you can make it "Target shield damage reduction is increased by 1. If your mark is , increase your shield damage reduction by 1."

I know the wording is awful, but it's only to say that you must target a shield if you haven't the mark. If you have mark it increase defense without targeting, so even immaterial shields can be enhanced.

Ooh a shard thread. I think the second option is better, because with the first I can just imagine sacrificing a flying Titan (or Elite Armedilgo if it cannot target flying weapons) and gaining a.. erm... lot of blockage. But then with the new shard (please tell me it doesn't stack), it seems like it could make something like Titanium Shield block 6 damage, which makes it seem a bit OP. I know I'm kinda talking in circles, but that's just my thing... maybe you could make it so there is a max amount of blockage, or the blockage is for X turns or something. Good idea though
