    The "absorb momentum" clause is a new mechanic which
absorbs momentum from a card on your side of the field, regardless of from where. It may remove it from an equipped Titan, a Sapphire Charger, Chimera or any creature on which Momentum has been played.

Gale Rend may target creatures or permanents.If you have no card on your side of the field which has momentum, Gale Rend is unable to be played and the following statement appears:[/list]

I worry that this has to be used alongside one of four specific cards (Momentum, Titan, Charger, Chimera) to be of any use whatsoever, which limits it significantly.

That said, it seems balanced (2-card instakill is fine), thematic, and generally awesome. Good job. ^^

Incidentally, you may want to change the wording to "Absorb momentum to destroy the targeted card."; otherwise it seems like it doesn't need momentum. Or, you could clarify it even more: "Absorb momentum from one of your cards to destroy the targeted card."

Also, considering its limitations, the PC aspect seems ... weak. Comparing to Deflagration and Shockwave, you could probably decrease the cost by one.

Nice and interesting card idea, seeing that air doesn't have any PC card this can be a good addition. Still the ability to destroy any card make it little OP for me, we doesn't have any card with a such powerfull effect So I'm not sure it's balanced (even if I agree that momentum creature aren't frequent in mono air)

While freeze benefits you(you can wait) this is to oppose all those chargers, and make Wings more useful against Gravity.
And those voodoo dolls.

Since Gale Rend hinders your cards, I don't see how it can benefit you by doing all those things to creatures you control.
