The idea with Haste was that would be used in situation where, for example, you have 1 hp left, your opponent has 3 crimson dragons, your opponent has 2 health, you have no creatures and only a Maxwell's Demon in your hand. You have 2 entropy pillars but need 3 more
to play the demon. You play haste, gain 4 entropy, play MD and win. The fact that you lost your pillars is irrelevant. Hope that helps you understand my idea.
