IDEA:

NOTES:
Pillars include towers but not pendulums or marks. Example: You have 3 emerald pillars and 2 bone towers. You play Hurry. You lose 5 :time and gain 3 :life and 2 :death. Example #2. You have 5 stone towers and 3 time factories. You play Haste. You gain 10 :earth and 6 :time. The 8 permanents are all destroyed. Hurry is a card that comes in handy as a source of non-time quanta in the middle portion of the game. Haste is designed to be used very late in the game when you desperately need more quanta to finish off your opponent. The destruction of all pillars and towers caused by Haste is designed to prevent overuse.

Ehhhhhhhh why not just turn a pillar or tower into one that creates two every turn..? Nobody wants their pillars going anywhere.

The idea with Haste was that would be used in situation where, for example, you have 1 hp left, your opponent has 3 crimson dragons, your opponent has 2 health, you have no creatures and only a Maxwell's Demon in your hand. You have 2 entropy pillars but need 3 more  :entropy to play the demon. You play haste, gain 4 entropy, play MD and win. The fact that you lost your pillars is irrelevant. Hope that helps you understand my idea.

Is unupped hurry 4 or 5 :time? I see a bit of a contradiction in your first post.

why not reduce the quantum cost of unupped?

unupped and upped looks like mutation|improved mutation in the sense that they work (slightly if not wholly) differently from each other, which
i find interesting in a card  ^-^ ^-^

also: possible comeback of :aether fractal-recluses (too expensive in practice though)

Indeed this card makes 2 skyblitzes posible in only one turn  :D

And this is why the upped one destroys your pillars...

Great card, great concept! I totally like it! ;D
BTW, upped one doesn't need that "0" in the cost thing, you just let it empty (look at Photon/Spark)

Good idea!  :)

I just don't like the huge effect/cost gap between the upped and the unupped versions.

I don't like the major difference of the unupped and upped cards. It seems like you had 2 ideas for seperate cards and combined them into one. :-S Kinda sloppy.

Also, I think Hurry should work for Pendulums. I like the idea of Haste more than Hurry.

Well, it's like Chaos Seed/Chaos Power or Pufferfish and the unupped one... I mean, making it change the cost and slightly modify the mechanic actually turns a regular card in a creative one. Just decreasing the cost of the upped to 3 :time is unelegant.

The reason I left the pendulums out was because of the issue over what kind of quanta the pendulums should produce with Hurry.

Thank you guys all so much for the feedback.

With regards to the difference between the upped and unupped versions, I used the destruction mechanic of Haste to discourage "automatic updating".

The idea was that having copies of both Hurry and Haste in your deck better allow you to get quanta on demand, or in dire situations, even more quanta at a steep cost.

I really like this, especially Haste. It's a last-ditch sort of thing, kind of along the lines of a Time version of my   :darkness Spite|Spite :darkness (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33806.0.html)
