I will start off by saying that I had a wonderful experience in the previous round with an exciting match and a very pleasant opponent, Annamall. The trend continues with an even more exciting match and an equally pleasant opponent. Thanks, Jappert, for providing me with another bullet point in my pending war recommendation.

We selected Honor.
Game 1. He plays a bunch of Pillars, and I have two Quicksands. I am thinking things are going well. Three turns later, there are four upped creatures on his side of the board and no prospects on mine. Brutal. 0-1.
Game 2. Got out an early Eternity and quaked off a decent sized Water Pillar stack. I got 3 creatures out and bounced creatures as he plays them; it looked like a lock. Then the desync happens; we play it out, and
won both sides. For reference, his Ice Bolt failed to freeze my Eternity. 1-1
Game 3. He started with a good quanta spread, and I had a good quanta draw. He got off to an early lead, but I managed to nearly match his creatures and get an Eternity on the board, so the damage was comparable. The he channelled Frank James Marshall or something and turned what appeared to be a pending victory into a dazzling defeat. Three for three on freezing with Ice Bolts kept his creatures around and shut down my damage. I did the best I could, but I came up a tad short. Swindled! 1-2
Game 4. I got a great start and got out an early Eternity. Once again, he managed to freeze it with a low-level Ice Bolt, but I had a bunch of creatures on the board. He got yet another freeze (5 for 6) on another, spiteful low-level Bolt, but I had another Ghost in hand for the killing blow. 2-2
Game 5. I started with a fairly low quanta hand, but I had both Reverse Time and Basilisk Blood in hand. He dropped four different quanta sources, but I had no Quicksand, so I decided to just try to rush him. I got out my creatures quickly and drew into an Enternity while he had a Titan. He spent two Bolts on my first Shrieker, and the missed freeze might have cost him. He had out a Charger and a Toadfish when I managed to quake his two Water Pillars, Basilisk Blood his Charger, and drop an Eternity with plans to bounce the Toadfish. It worked, keeping his damage at bay, and I managed to win with just 12 health left and just a Titan swinging on his side. 3-2
Another very exciting match and great experience. Thanks, Jappert, and I wish you better luck next round--maybe 8 out of 8 freezes.
