Well let's face it, This card is almost completely overshadowed by EQ and Pulvy in every aspect.

You want denial 6 EQ's is much better then a weapon which costs one more, especially when you don't have to EQ much after the first or second, or in some cases, third or fourth.

You want damage with control, Pulvy beats it out.

You want anything else, use EQ, it won't force you to duo/trio, and It cost less.

Thunderstorm ability:
Deal 1 damage to all enemy creatures (3-4 :air)

Shatter:
Destroy target frozen creature (3-4 :earth)

Pillar conversion:
COnvert target pillar to a pillar of mark (2-3 :water)

Reduce the cost of both by 1 :water and increase the damage of both by 1.  That would at least give it use in speedbows.

How about Two abilities?

Unupped: "Weapon: deal 4 damages at the end of your turn. :earth :earth :earth: Earthquake. :earth :earth :earth :earth Destroy."
Upped: "Weapon: deal 4 damages at the end of your turn. :earth :earth: Earthquake. :earth :earth :earth: Destroy."

Instead of :earth :earth :earth :earth: Destroy, :water :water :water :water: Freeze could also be possible. The high costs are supposed to make Trident not as powerful as Pulverizer or the Squid.

Something to that effect. As a Water player, I have never used Trident, not even just for the weapon damage. Something that would make it in any way better would be fantastic.

It's been almost 7 months since the other thread had been posted in, and this weapon continues to be the least used of all the weapons, by far. In fact, it's one of the 10 least used cards in the entire game.

With the new shards coming out, should there be a nice way to remove them quickly? With this addition, Trident wouldn't be as overshadowed as it is now by Earthquake.

As of now, the Shards that can stack are:
Shard of Conscience (not finalized yet)
Shard of Void
Shard of Gratitude

Shard targeting sounds like a good idea - it reduces their power by adding a good counter and it helps differentiate Trident from just being "EQ-on-a-stick".

One upping that, you could make it target stacks, to counter cards like Bonewall.

+1 for targeting shards. Also, its text reads "deal 4 damages"... it's the only weapon that says that.

I'll go ahead and point out my Collapse | Implosion (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30993) idea.

Shard-targeting would be nice, but three at once? And how does it fit thematically?
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I think you should change the middle poll option to (or add another one for) targeting cards like Bonewall.
