Epic art is epic.

"Impervious" - does this mean that it blocks momentum or merely reduces damage as normal?
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Phrasing this in a sentence is kinda weird. Look at it like this...
Vs an upped shield, ELITE Charger would deal 5 damage, a momentum dune scorp does nothing.

Edit: Confused my Sapphire and my Elite

Yes, that was a grammar fail on my part. Thanks for clearing that up.

It looks good, although it somewhat goes against momentum's theme; kind of like targeting immaterial creatures. A good shield choice for Gravity though.

Topic says immovable hurdle, card says wall. Which is it? The shield looks nice.

Thanks for the kind words on the art. It was pretty simple to do with some of the SumoPaint tools in about 10 minutes - I highly recommend folks playing around with SumoPaint, it's very powerful! (It's sorta is a web-based Photoshop-esque thing I use when I'm on my Linux netbook which ofc can't run Photoshop, and is also a bit more userfriendly FWIW)

Hearing no major "dude redesign your whole card!" quibbles with this card like I got on my other shield, I guess I'll see you folks in the Crucible!

OFFTOPIC: man, that SumoPaint is totally awesome!!! Thanks, i would use it!

Back to the card:
I don't really like the word "impervious" because i think it doesn't explain very well what happens to Momentumed creatures.
I'll change the wording in "Shield: Blocks 1 damage. Can block Momentum."
I'm not specifying "creatures" because i think this apply to Weapons (Titan) too.

In the end, i think it's ok, Simple and effective!

Hrm...While I don't like the idea of a momentum-breaking shield, I suppose  :gravity being able to stop it's own trick makes sense. HOWEVER! What I do not like is the cost. It's a very weak shield, and the low amount of momentum-useage means that your going to be paying 4 or 5  :gravity quanta for shield with a useless side gimmick half of the time. It is better than the existing gravity shield for being more useful in general...But for what it does i find the cost is a bit high.

Sorry for the late response.

We had creatures. Then we had blocking creatures. Then we had unblockable creatures. Now you are suggesting a "block even unblockable creatures" idea? Will that lead to an "Unblockable even by block unblockable creatures" creature? ...
An unmovable stone cannot be moved. An untargetable creature cannot be targeted. An unblockable creature should not be blockable.

Untargetable creatures may not be targetable, but they're still killable via damage shields. Would you prefer momentum creatures to be destroyed?

Note: Means of dealing untargetable creatures do not target (ex CC Shields, Flooding).
Means of dealing with unblockable creatures should not involve shields (since Momentum ignores all shield effects because it bypasses the shield)
