(all cards in this deck are upgraded, and the bone dragons were ivory dragons from the oracle and my max wisdom, but I don't actually own any ivory dragons, so I used bone dragons to show you the deck image as close as possible)

Just thought I'd let people see what I'm using, since I'm about to change it up.  I'm getting a bit nervous with that age, since it's already at -32hp and tomorrow it's going to be -64.  I'll post the next deck after I quit using it as well.  It's in my best interests not to reveal the deck while it's actually up in the arena, but there is no harm in revealing it after I'm done using it.  My oracle card now is Aether Pendulum, which is another reason I want to switch it now; that's a decent card, and I'm worried that if I get a crappy card tomorrow I'll either have to build a junk deck or play with -64hp.

The idea of the deck was to Cremate the gemfinders/balls and drop lava destroyers, obviously, but with the added twist that when you cremate stuff, the soul catchers give death quanta for the ivory dragons that I had to use.  I really don't like the death element and I couldn't think of any good deck based on death as the main element, so I decided to splash death in this way, and it did a lot better than I thought it would.

Pretty nice deck, I like how it works. Still, could easily see a game where you don't draw any soul catchers and have trouble playing dragons.

Yeah, if I were going to do this as a pvp deck or something, I'd use less bone dragons, but I had to use 5 for the arena.  I'm not sure if the chaos power or thunderbolt were the best choices, either, but I figured the chaos power would allow for some explosive starts (playable with cremation) and the thunderbolt would be good creature removal.  When I tested against the deck, the AI also is stupid and plays cremation before soul catcher on turn 1 :p  Fortunately on further turns, the soulcatchers will already be there to do their thing.

I accidentally cleared my deck before checking the stats.  The deck is correct, but I'll have to try and recreate the rest.

I didn't expect this deck to do very well, but given my collection, it was about the best I could do in aether, and I couldn't really think of a duo that the AI could play (and that I could build with upgrades).  The deck ended up at roughly about 30-10 win/loss; I forget exactly but I know it had a negative rating :p  The age was only two days, and I ditched the deck asap because it sucks, and because my card today was Heal, and I built what I think will be a pretty nice deck with that.  (I was so excited I forgot to write the stats for this deck :O )  I would've changed my deck after one day, but I got Rustler yesterday, which is about as bad as it gets, so I kept this deck for two days.  The deck's rank fluctuated a bunch, and picked up a ton this morning (it went 11-1 last night I think) and peaked somewhere in the low 200s.  Not very good, but with the suckiness of this deck, I'm surprised it even won half its games, so I'll take it.

The next one uses Heal, and I'm expecting good things from it, though I don't think I've ever seen a deck like it before, probably because it would suck without 2x draw/mark.

edit: in case I forget to record it next time, the Heal deck has 160hp, 60 wisdom, 2x draw and 2x mark.

Oracle Card: HEAL

This was a pretty silly deck :p  It's just based on the healing theme, obviously, and it was done mostly as an experiment to see how it would do.  The answer is not very well   It started out with a few less upgrades, but I upgraded a couple of the scorpions/epinephrines on the first day.

My next card is Immolation   I already have six cremations upgraded, so I don't need it for that, but at least it means I can make a good deck today!

I'm surprised this deck didn't do better; perhaps people are metagaming against the destroyer/cremator deck now.  I did have a few odd choices, like fire buckler, but even then I'm surprised it didn't do better.  This deck should be able to kick the crap out of the cremator/destroyer/bone dragon/soulcatcher deck I put up first, and it did way better.

I'd probably have left the deck up for a few days and maybe tweaked it, but tonight I got PURPLE NYMPH so it is time to make a new deck

Yeah, it's a pretty stupid deck, but it has purple nymph :p  I never tested it, but I suspect the AI wasn't very good at knowing when to use or save its quanta, given that there are quite a few decisions to be making.

Next card is EARTHQUAKE, so I'm making a new deck.

The earthquake deck is doing alright so far; it is 33-9 after 3 days.  It would probably be doing better if I wasn't using all unupgraded pillars, but I haven't worked on earth pillars yet.  I skipped over short sword and water pillar, and today I got aether pillar, but based on my collection I'm staying with the earth deck.  I won't reveal the exact contents until I take it down, but it's basically a typical graboid deck, only with nowhere near as many upgrades as I'd like.  It's got 200hp (well, down to 192 now) 2x draw/mark, and however much wisdom that leaves for the rest.  I gained level 64 somewhere over the last 3 days, but since my hp was already maxed, I don't have anything to do with the extra skill points!  I could increase the mark if I took off a few hp, but I don't think it needs 3x, because all it uses Time for are graboids and rewinds, and I don't have any more upgrades to use if I shaved some hp and bumped wisdom up.

This deck did alright, but it's starting to show its age at five days.  I got Rain of Fire today at the oracle, and I don't want to risk getting a crappy card, so I'm taking down this deck.  It's a pretty obvious strategy, drop graboids asap while being a dick with quicksand and rewind.
