The Quanta balance is very off. 3 Death Pendulums which you might draw. Also, there is a lot of Life cards which seem randomly thrown in. You should make it a Mono-Life, or change it is to a nice Death/Life. A great combo for Death/Life is Aflatoxin/Empathic Bond. In the not-perfect Mono-Life deck above, it is very simple to play. You play Heal when needed or when you need to EM. You play the Adrenaline on the Horned Frog to get +9 Attack. For the Death/Life deck, you could use the deck I posted here. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26041.msg400311#msg400311) The strategy for the deck is very simple, and I also posted how to play it in the post I linked. If you don't like any of those 2 decks, you could try experimenting with other Elements together with Life. Aether/Life can be Fractal Horned Frog, Entropy/Life could be Antimatter+Adrenaline on your opponent's creature and there are many other combos you can try. Don't stick with one deck all the time.

I want to stick with you theme of a life-death catch-all deck.  Below is my suggestion to create a more stable deck, while keeping your deck’s heart.

52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bt 5bu 5bu 5c0 5c0 5c2 5c2 5c3 5c5 5c6 5c6 5c7 5c7 5c8 5c9 5c9 4t4 6rn 8pk

Using a death mark instead of the death pendulums will make sure that your poisons always come out when in hand, and you are not waiting for a pendulum.  Your quantum balance was also off in your deck, so I pulled out some cards to optimize the deck.  You can put some back in, but remember this rule of thumb: Add up all your cards costs.  You need 1 pillar per 5 costs.  Then tweak as you see fit, but using this rule, you should have an empty hand and minimal quanta remaining.

For the upgraded cards, here is what I see: Short sword jumps up from 3 to 6 damage on upgrade, horned frog jumps from 3 to 5 damage.  If you want more speed out of the deck, try these first.  If you want more defense, emerald shield jumps to 2 damage mitigated from 1, for an extra cost of 2, and thorn shield adds 1 damage reduction.  Thorn shield is tricky though, it makes creatures with 1 attack then immune to its poison effect, so be aware before you upgrade.  You really want to poison those rustlers, octopus and ray of lights.

This is just a start to balance your quanta, give a bit more consistency to your deck and keep it slim-ish.  You can take out a bit more and make it a 30 card, standardize on a specific type of life card to add more consistency. Change it as you see fit, play with it and you should find something great.

It looks like there is a lot going on in the deck.Thorn carpace is a good idea but with the high playing cost for it and there is little quanta production for the deck.I would try a deck like this for better results.

If you don't have the upgrades its fine since this can be played unupped though the upps are so you dish out extra poison damage.I made it With just poison because 1 it will add up and most players do not bring a purify when they battle but if they do then the vulture comes in with high attack and hp from your skull shield thats out on the field killing low hp creatures.I added A kick of adrenaline so that way the scorps can do an extra 6 damage with an extra poison every turn which with this much will add up to be a lot of damage of poison every turn which makes this deck fast. The heals are in there so that way if you are rushed you can try and stall it out and let the poison do its damage. If you play this unupped use a death mark and make 3 death pillars and the rest of the pends life pillars.

Nerds13's Deck

Nerds13’s deck is an interesting deck relying on Poison and Liferush.  The main problem with this deck is that it doesn’t focus on any one strategy, overstretching itself.  If I were to make changes, I’d drop the Longsword and Staffs if able.  This would free room for 2 Arsenics.  In addition, I’d replace all of the Horned Frogs and Cockatrices with Scorpions.  Removing the Heals and adding Mitosis in their place would help as well.  I’d also remove the Dragon, Emerald Shield, and Bonds from the deck.  The Plague isn’t going to be of much use, so that should be dropped as well.  Giving the deck a Death mark will allow it to use Life pillars making it that much more faster and useful for Mitosis.  The question posed by Nerds13 was which card would be the best to upgrade.  In my opinion it would be Arsenic, granting it 2 more damage for the same cost.  The final result would be like something below:
