. . . Target player gains "Steam" for one turn, basically. And then, after 2 turns, this thing gains +1|+0 permanently... Personally, I think you could afford to raise the hp a bit.

I love this card. It wouldn't hurt to strengthen the stats of Demon|Devil, but it's a wonderful and refreshing concept.

Nice to see this is liked  What are recommendations for stat changes? I personally don't think they should be too high since it is a) a growth creature and b) provides a buff to the creatures it feeds off of

Rage pot takes hp away for the same effect, but is more profitable.
This just gives 5 atk for the cost of single creature in 2 turns and only gives Demon +1.

I suggest for upped increasing it to +2 so then its worth its upgrading cost.
I Personally dislike creature cards that only offer +1 cost changes for very minor atk/hp increase for 1500 electrum, too expensive for such a minor effect, It would be the last thing I upgrade in my deck after upgrading other important cards for maximum deck potential, since they can still potentially be killed by the same effects which were once a danger
to the creature previously.

My suggestions are:

Make it worth its upgrade; for upped, change the stat adding effect to +2
or
Make the upped ability only cost 1  .

This could be used with any creature no matter it's health and considering has phoenix you actually wouldn't have to kill your creatures to grow this.

imo, i feel its UP considering you have to sacrifice one of your creatures and the demon only gains a measily 1 atk for upped, sounds
like the devil cheated himself dont you think? (thematically)

Don't forget you can use it as CC; say you're running 6 SoGs and other stall cards, use deal on their creatures so they die while you heal anything they dealt.

Also - RP and VD isn't the only  combo.
