I had crazy luck with drawing graboids both matches, I think that won me the games.
Round1: I saw the mark and knew it's a nightmare/GoTP. Fortunately I had a good amount of grabos and a few EQ-s in hand, but then Jen-i started Stealing my time Pillars (clever move), but fortunately that wasn't enough to play a rewinded ghost right away, while I could replay my rewinded shriekers as I draw them. So I could delay his offense. A mid- game Dusk Shield made my life harder tho. 1-0
Round2: I had 3 grabos in the starting hand, but at the cost of a ridiculously bad quanta support. I coulnd't EQ his pillars, but lucky for me, Jen-i had a low amount of pillars/pends too. Slowly I played my grabos (I drew a 4th along the way), but that emptied my hand somewhat and Jen-i starter a heavy Nightmaring campaign, while his Ghosts were attacking my life total. Toward the end of the game he also played a Dusk. fortunately at one point in the game he went down to 1
so I took the risk of evolving my grabos. I was right, as no 1-quanta upped Rewind came and I could burrow them before they got reversed. Still, Jen-i's ghosts nearly killed me. Last turn I used my two SSes in hand at ~10
, just to barely get out of the Ghost range, while praying to RNG to let my shriekers hit thorugh his Dusk. Which they did, finishing the game.
Thank you for the intense and fun games (especially the second), and wish you luck for the rest or War!
