It could possibly fit into earth or gravity maybe but it fits thematically in air since air deals with flight and at the moment only web (a skill using ) takes away airborne

Actually,  is the best element for it, the theme just simply fits into  more since it is based on falling, as well as airborne nullification.
thats just my honest opinion, though i like this card, it creates more diversity usage for/against particular creature passives/types.

I'm quite surprised that the creature falling takes no damage. Perplexing...

You could argue that the creatures it crushes on the way down cushion it's fall.

Falling on a crowd of people will not safeguard you from harm. Try it. ^_^

But I do see your point, you don't need to change the card just because it makes sense.
