NOTES:
Khopesh: Khopesh (ḫpš; also vocalized khepesh) is the Egyptian name of the Canaanite "sickle-sword", in Assyrian known as sappara. Various pharaohs are depicted with a khopesh, and some have been found in royal graves, such as the two examples found with Tutankhamun.

Fast forward: Time already possesses permanents and spells which allow you to slow you or your opponent down (Eternity procrastination and reverse time) or to quicken you (sundial, hourglasses, precognition). However, it was not yet possible to accelerate your opponent. Now, for each successful attack, the opponent will draw a card. Obviously, he can never have more than 8 cards even if the effect is triggered several time (in the case of Flying weapons for example).

Snap: This is the ultimate weapon for the deck outers. Your opponent could draw one more card per turn. However, He will really be faster. So you will need to resist the blow and not to die before. Snap is also a mild counter to fractal and mindgate. It synergizes well with sundial and time barrier (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25234.0.html) as well as most of the stall cards. It renders the combination with nightmare a lot less effective. It is also countered by the same cards which counter Discord (namely: dissipation shield, dimension shield, bone wall and sanctuary) plus Eternity (if you play it right).

Stats: Flying Snap is now 4|4 and Snap Khopesh is 6|3. It makes also sense when you compare it to Eternity 4|8 and 4|8. Eternity is supposed to be slow whereas Snap is fast.

It makes also sense when you compare it to Eternity 4|8 and 4|8. Eternity is supposed to be slow whereas Snap is fast.

I love this^^
Used in a stall, this can deck your opponent in no time, especially if that opponent is a FG with not too much brain =)

In PvP, this can as well be a killer, for both you and your opponent, depending on what your opponent does.

As it is now, I think it is too strong, reducing the ammount of drawn cards to a maximum of 3 (which is still plenty) might help.

Any forced drawing is powerful.
I would suggest decreasing the cost to 2 :time|2 :time and decreasing the forced draw to 1 card. You would still double the rate the opponent decks out so it would deny them half their turns.

Agreed. As it is, it's probably one of the most powerful cards I've ever seen. Imagine this played in an entropy stall, powered by snovas...

Wow, this just seems to make time that much more potent with stalling and deckout!
Eternity is stall, while this is simple deck out.
Fly your eternity, get this out, stall yourself so you don't get decked out if you have a low amount of cards in your deck and BAM!
opponent decks out.
I really like it though, i hope a second generation of weapons comes out with this in it, it would be really interesting. :)

At least Sanctuary would finally work against an element that didn't have PC.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Interesting idea, I'd say make it draw 1 or 2,
Then you could fly them or use crusaders and every hit would force the opponent to draw.

Now that's a unique mechanic.  Very inspired, but MUCH too powerful.  Along with flown or endowed Eternity and Nightmares, this can actually lock your opponent out 100% and make them continually draw Ghosts of the Past.

Thanks. I see that this idea has potential as most of you like it. As most of you guys also found it too powerful I changed it according to OldTrees suggestion.
I let the precious form in the spoiler (in the OP) for the other reader to see what it was about.

What do you think now? Is it crucible ready?

I am surprised when someone misses my suggested cost but sees the rest of my post.
To make my reasoning for 2 and not 1 nor 3 clear:
Cost = Attack + Skill Value - Weapon - (upgrade when applicable)
2 = 4 + 1 - 3 - 0
2 = 6 + 1 - 3 - 2

I don't know why, I read "I would suggest decreasing the cost by 2 :time|2 :time". Mea Culpa. I put it back to 2 in the OP.

to vs by. A reasonable misunderstanding that I am mostly to blame for. I will remember to use more obvious language or include equations to contrast it from the normal "decrease by" posts.

I think it is ready for the crucible.
