I saw the life mark and knew it would be adrenavamps, so I was praying for some early mind flayers, and yes, both games I got one in my starting hand ;)

First game: I managed to play nova, chrysoara, cremation on the first turn, together with a pillar and a forest spirit. The second turn I played the flayer, and started growing the spirit. After a few turns I managed to play a second spirit, after another nova and chrysaora (which got a change to poison) + immolation. I drew both momentums for more damage, and just started chewing away his hp's while growing my spirits.
The turn after I (finally) got a steam machine, he managed to play his first vampire (he already had a nightfall and a stiletto hitting), but I lobo'd that vamp and the next one, and won after that.

Second game, I started with 2 immo's, 1 flayer, 2 steamies and 2 pillars. I played the flayer the second turn, drew a nova and played that too. The turn after I drew a forest spirit, and decided I didn't want to wait for a decent cremation target, so I cremated the first steamie, to allow the second one to grow. Mith was building quanta, so I feared he was up to something, most likely spamming a few vamps at the same time, or waiting for a cloak. I managed to screw that, because I drew a nova, and the turn after that, the discord, so I started to scramble his stocked up quanta. At that point he played a vampire, after I drew a momentum. When I finally had enough quanta to finish it, I drew the first Chrysaora (glad I didn't wait for it ;) )

Screeny of the second game:

G1:  Great quanta draw, I was able to play any and everything in my deck.  Too bad I was staring at 4 Adrenalines for 4 turns with nary a vampire in sight.  He drops a mind flayer the turn I draw a vampire, so I hold on for a turn hoping for a cloak.  The pendulum and pillar I drew were of no use to me.  1-0

G2:  Pretty much opposite start from first game, only a single pillar draw. I drew pendulums the next few turns, played a Nightfall, and was about to drop a Cloak with two Adrenavamps (48 hp swing ftw) with a third coming the following turn when lo and behold what appears?  Effing Discord.  2-0

My congratulations to Water for another phenomenal deck.  Best of luck going forward.

Interesting deck from :water.  Something as simple as an early Cloak to protect those vampires could have been all the difference.  Great showing from :water so far.

Even than I could have won, this deck is great in building large amounts of damage ;)

Ugly (but innovative) deck wins!

A couple more cloaks and dark nymph or 2 would have made a world of difference here. I half-expect Team Darkness to be wailing: "Liquid Shadow, why have you forsaken us?"
