This costs X +2 cards (this plus the discard) and returns 2Y|3Y (Y=casting cost of discarded card)

Immolation + Photon costs 2 cards and gives 7 + 

I would suggest making this free (ignoring the 2 card cost) and give 3Y|4Y as a starting point.

ok, i figured with there being a few cards that cost 12 or more, then you have a card you can discard for more quanta than a supernova, i will lower cost accordingly.

You might be right 2Y|3Y return, 0 cost then.

A 0 cost allows it to be the primary quanta source for a new deck type. This is a very good thing.

ok, sounds good, was worried it might be too good that way, but yeah, it would make a nice quanta source alongside soulcatcher and the light shield etc, nova and such, suddenly a pillarles deck and Other decks are possible.

I tend to agree.  This gives the possibility of more deck types without being powerful enough to warp the game.  I like it.

To save the Curators time:
Capitalize "The" and put a period after "quanta" in the card text.

Fix the table to say exactly
