In game honesty...

After every pvp match of an important event (Trials, Weekly Tournaments, Wars, etc...), we post our decks here also to show if they are legal or not.

But this way is easily to bypass: if I want to cheat I just can use an illegal deck and post in the forum a legal one.

Pvp event rule that says it's forbidden to edit a post doesn't resolve this question.

So, I wanna suggest this:

Someone (Zanz) should create a sort of summary page at the end of every pvp match, to show statistics, decks, players names, etc...

Imo this could be a nice solution about in game player honesty.

In any PvP match that matters, I take screenshots at various points in the game (I have something called SnagIt that makes this very easy) to settle disputes. I encourage others to do the same.

The argument is of course - why do I have to divulge anything about my deck if it was legal?

A well guarded secret is going to be much more effective than something out in the open. I held off posting my decks in Phase 2 Trials because I wanted to reuse them. If someone was able to see my exact deck it would be really frustrating.

Case and point - I had a deck with discord and the discord never came at all. If my opponent saw my discord he would have known had he seen me come again with the deck - same for my other opponent.


I think to implement the system it would have be encrypted somehow or otherwise not specific.

On encryption: at the end of the game an encrypted code would appear. Only your opponent would have the encryption key. If they gave you a fake one the deck would be gibbrish. So that way the deck is recorded but not revealed until everyone is ready to reveal.


On less specific: the game simply tells you how many upgrades were used and what the ratio of elements used was. Not ideal.

As far as I'm concerned, the suggestion me and Spike have come up with would only be used in Events where you have to post your deck. I thought that was obvious.

I don't know how to take screenshots so it really not fair because I wouldn't be able to do events

Google is your friend. On most keyboards, you have a key that's called PrtScr. Press that and you'll have a screenshot of your current screen to paste into Paint or any other image program. Save it somewhere on your PC, go to an image upload site like imgur.com and upload. Presto.

You can also get software that takes screenshots, as BC mentioned. They usually make the process smoother.
