since both unupped reverse time and the hourglass ability cost are 2, 2 would be a balance cost in my mind as it does either or.
the upped ability cost is fine since upped hourglass ability cost and rewind both cost 1
time doesnt really need a new draw card idea in my mind but i think this is balanced

Bear in mind there's a -1 to quanta cost due to the nature of the Lucky! Series mechanic (50% chance of achieving the desired effect).

I would not assume a -1 quanta cost. If both effects are worth N quanta then you will get N quanta out of each use.

As I said before
Reverse Time is worth 2 :time +1card
Precog's draw freature is worth 0 :time +1card
Therefore the unupped is worth 1 :time +1card (how it currently is)

However
 :time:Draw a Card is worth 5 (see calculation below)
 :time:Reverse Time is worth 7 (see calculation below)
Therefore the upgraded is worth 6quanta. (subtract 1 for the upgrade bonus and it should cost 5 :time)
Therefore the casting cost or activation cost should be increased by 1 for the upgraded.

I would not assume a -1 quanta cost. If both effects are worth N quanta then you will get N quanta out of each use.



However, the fact that you cannot rely on which ability it will be, combined with the fact that the rewind chooses a random target, I think warrants the -1 cost.

even if you cant rely on which ability you get, they both have a 2 time cost regularly, so either or should cost 2 in my mind, if you want to rely on something get precogs in your deck or get rewind times in your deck

The not being able to choose the target does justify the lower cost.
The randomness between effects does not.

Casting Cost 1 :time|4 :time looks good.

Just look at chaos seed.

Most of the effects are worth more than 1 :entropy, and yet it costs 1 :entropy.  Why? Because you can't rely on any one effect.

People usually view Chaos Seed as being a single effect as opposed to each individual outcome being an effect.
