Xyosis is a name derived from the word symbiosis, meaning a close association of animals or plants of different species that is often, but not always, of mutual benefit. Most of these relationships develop over time and are considered biproducts of the theory of Adaptation.
The different species would be the Otyughs and the Minor Phoenixes; also in the equation are Deathstalkers. These three creatures live symbiotically in this deck in such a way that it creates a near perfect synergy when Soul Catcher is involved. The Otyughs nom on the Minor Phoenix which can revive the next turn and at the same time, fuel Soul Catchers and get out some unstoppable deathstalkers for poison damage.

I don't think otyughs will eat the phoenixes. But even so, they make good fodder for CC and otyughs can eat enemy creatures.

You also have too many soul catchers. With not-that-many death cards, you probably only need one or two. And a 12/50 chance to draw one each turn should be enough to get that many very early, then you'll just have a ton of extra quanta after.

If the oty's actually eat the phoenixes, I think this is the coolest adaptation deck yet.

The symbiosis between soulcatchers, momentum, death stalkers, otyughs and phoenixes. Perfectly fits the theme!

Very well done! Don't know if I'm happy with the competition  ;) You got my vote at least!

A renewable food source for Otyughs, and quanta generation from death--this deck concept is great but since the AI will be playing it, I fear the deck will "waste" Unstoppables on Otyughs and MPs since they'll be in play earlier than Deathstalkers.  This is only made worse if the AI somehow is coded to target its own MPs for devouring in which case each rebirth will be another chance to play another Unstoppable.

Hmm....
This deck's main problem appears to be the AI playing it lol. Maybe have 4 deathstalkers and 3 otys rather than 3 deathstalkers and 6 otys. That way there will only be 6 otys in the doubled-up deck and more deathstalkers.
