I assume it'll trigger from your draw at the beginning of the turn? The upped might be a little too strong... at least, for an upgrade.
I'm no OldTrees.. but I have read quite a few of his posts... so here goes. Feral Bond, though, is +1/turn/creature regen for 5|4
, and the average number of creatures played in a game is... what, 6? (assuming six copies each of two different creatures) Therefore... Feral Bond would be Average Regen per Turn -1|-2
. Now... the average number of drawing power (since this is in time) would probably be 2-3 hourglasses and a few sundials or precognitions. 3+1=4 average (not taking the one-time draws from dials and precogs or lack of drawing due to nearing deckout or lack of
), so 4*2 -1 would be 7
. (though that seems awfully expensive for an element as expensive as time...) For the upped... 4*5 -2= 18
(clearly, my formulas and/or estimates are off by a lot) Assuming extra draw of 2, that gives 2+1=3, 3*2 -1 = 5
, 3*5 -2 = 13
(unupped seems better, upped seems a bit too expensive still)
Okay, so I'm not that great with this. Even so, I think it'd be better to have the upped be +1 heal +1
from the unupped (so 2/draw heal for N -> 3/draw heal for N+1)
