Merchandising anyone?

I just thought about Elements shirts and stuff. How many would buy tshirts or stuff like that?

There could be a competition for logos, and the best ideas will be used.

I think this idea actually exists somewhere on the forum. Too lazy right now to go find it. But SG posted a shirt idea using one of those websites that lets you design your own shirts. Not sure why that thread died out. I, or I think jmizzle, suggest actual cards of elements. Not for play, just for owning purposes. I think some full on glossy cards, maybe even foil cards, would be really awesome to own.

I don't think enough people know about elements that would even buy the shirts. I say this is a lost cause.

It's all about marketing. There are hundreds of thousands of active accounts, and I'm sure that at least some of those players have talked about Elements with another person that has yet to play Elements. Merchandise is a kind of branding - getting your name out there with an image or images that represent what you are. It can help grow a business, so it is almost always a winning proposition. What you're concerned with is return-on-investment (ROI), and rightfully so. I am fairly confident that there are some players that would love to own Elements merch. The problem, as SG pointed out previously, is that shirts aren't very profitable.
