I don't prefer to have the upped name "Elite". Elite normally means something stronger or specialized. Copycat is sort of sleuth like, So I prefer it to be called "Imitator" instead.

How would you copy abailities from spells that don't have associating skills? Example- "Blessing"

this ability is to copy every spell that cast to itself to be it active skill.  received dmg from fire lance and it can cast fire lance.  be poisoned from plague and it can use plague. 

even if it targeted by associating spell like 'rage elixir'   it still get  'rage elixir' skill  not 'rage' from fire nymph.

How would "rage elixir skill" be different than "rage" from a nymph? Also, keep in mind that many spells don't have spells associated with them so you'd have to include new skills for creatures. That's a lot to add.


To be honest, I think this card is OP. It would completely bypass cards like Nymph Tears and Nymphs because you can simply make any nymph you want just by using the associated spell potion from any one element.

very large different.  rage elixir cost 3     but fire nymph cost 4 

and copycat can't use nymph tear.   how can you target creature by use nymph tear,  no   i don't think you can do it.

this card can cast every spell that must done something to creature.  like blessing, rage portion, fire storm, or gravity pull.   

and all of that ability cost is same as spell card.

Yeah, my bad I meant that it would make nymph tears obsolete because you can just use the potion to make a nymph instead of turning pillars into them.

But to the point, there's a reason nymph's ability for their respective potions are usually more expensive (either by having to use a pillar/tower or being lucky to win them) than the pot... it's because you essentially have a lot of copies without having to fill the card slots. Most of the nymph's abilitis are very powerful and being able to get a rage pot for less without having a nymph or the tears to get it means you are bypassing the restrictions in place to keep the abilities in balance.

Also, having a Fire Storm on a creature is waaaay OP. Imagine TU on one? That to would be way OP.

how can Copycat use firestorm?

it must wait your opponent use firestorm.  right?  cuz you can't use firestorm to yourself.   and when you must wait you opponent to use it.  how can you know you enemy must use firestorm or fire element?

if you don't know what you enemy will use.  you must play rainbow for this card?  i'm don't think it to easy to make copycat use firestorm at all.

about nymph potion...   um...   i'm don't sure about it.  what you say is true.  but some skill that you wanna coppycat use must have to use to it before.  i'm mean.  if you wanna use 'mass rage pot'  copycat must have 7 hp to endure that dmg  right?   and for other nymph pot like 'aflatoxin' make your copycat die so easily or even 'basilist blood'  that you must wait for 6 turn.

btw....   i'm ready to think this innate is a bit OP in some situation.   what about improve it cost?

Any creature which gets nymph (alchemy) powers will probably not be allowed into the game, as i would lessen the usefulness of the nymphs radically. Any "spell on a stick" has to carefully be individually balanced, and this fairly cheap and itself not a bad card... I think this would lean against the OP side.

So, Copycat can even gain the ability of AoE spells like Plague or Firestorm? Like Behemoth, there's actually a big deal on whether or not those count as 'targeting' spells.

What about when you cast pandemonium will it gain pandemonium or the specific thing that it got hit with.

its a really interesting idea, i just dont think it will work out, too many kinks when its all fleshed out
