It seems to be the cost the master would have to pay if the auction ended now.  So if it ended now anyone not winning in 7 player auctions would have to pay 24 for the remaining players.

Well we all know the bidding doesn't end now... the numbers should just show the current total.

If the only player kev gets through bids is that one player, he'll have to pay 24x6 cards for the rest of team, for a total of 145.

Maybe you should put (minimum) next to the teams who have a full team to avoid confusion.
