Not really, considering he had more than double my upped cards (25-12)

Congratulation xdude and good job implosion. As I said in the chat, though the spectator mode sucks, I can really feel it was intense. Both of you put up on a great fight.

One of my favorite decks going into the trials, but after rampant antimatter/etc in later bouts i couldn't use it anymore safely. I outrushed him completely. 1-0 me.

versus . Unfortuantely I was prohibited to use antimatter, and after a long discord war he antimattered the two mutants i got out. After a long struggle, he won by a wide margin. 1-1.

I had a near-perfect draw, and got up to an amount of damage protection he couldn't overcome within a few turns. He forfeited. 2-1 me.

The first of three games where i got outrushed by a single turn. I didn't draw a pegasus until very late in the game, although his otyughs weren't a problem due to shockwave. I eventually got a pegasus a turn too late. 2-2.

In retrospect, I probably should have put in another stone skin or something. We both got a sword (me morning glory, him morning star) early and eventually i ran out of basilisk blood, and the extra health from stone skin lasted one turn too few. Also of note is that he played a gravity shield on the turn i got enough quanta for a dragon. 3-4.

My opening hand: one RoL, a couple tower/pillars, a dragon, a fractal, and all three hopes . His early discord kept me at bay until i blocked it with enough hope power. Unfortunately, the extra hopes in my hand forced me to hold on to my dragons, which in turn reduced the number of RoLs i could play. The situation near endgame: i got up to 9 RoLs, and i had 3 HP left. He had 2 dragons, a nymph and a discord. The next turn I could have fractal'd again. Guess what he played . 3-5, xdude wins.

Good games. I was probably right that it was about metagame but luck might have been a bigger factor than I expected. All three of my wins were pretty much blowouts. 2 of his were, and the other three were by a turn - or in the last game's case, a hit point. But nevertheless, intense games, and congratulations.

But it was so tense I can't remember anything about those games.

I wrote everything down after every match lol.

Just a quick note after seeing your decks. Using Pendulums might've granted you better draws, and ultimately the victory.
