Frogs, and Epi's, and Swords, Oh My!!! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=11285.msg138654#msg138654
« on: August 14, 2010, 06:50:42 pm »
For a long time I used Celidion's adrenaline rush  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1482.0.html) with good success.  The initial goal of my ttw study was to see if the life rush or the shrieker rush was faster.  After testing I was sad to see the life rush was almost 0.4 turns slower than a shrieker rush.

So began my testing to find a faster life rush.  I tried various ratios and combinations and finally ended up with the below deck as the fastest life rush possible based on ttw, having 4 turn kill potential that the previous life rush did not.  Comparing to the benchmark shrieker rush, the deck has a ttw of 5.965 beating a shrieker rush at 6.080.

Before someone asks: upped frogs are better than unupped frogs with epinephrine and the longswords are important to a 4 turn kill and 2 is the optimal number.

Enjoy.

I played this deck with a rush deck, it is extremely fast.  A scary addition to the top50.

Upped frogs gets through shield better, and it does more damage when not adrenalined.

Yeah, more often than not you will not have adrenaline so having the upped frog makes the deck a good bit faster.

Why this deck has 2 Swords?
So there's a higher chance of getting one before you win, otherwise you rarely draw one.
Remember it's a rush deck, so unless you're unlucky, you'll seldom get to see two swords at a time.

Exactly, swords are very important to the speed of this deck (sub 6 ttw) and having 2 sword allows you to have a better chance of drawing one early.

This deck is another candidate to use a few life pendalums to help with eq.

This deck was actually the deck I rocked before I made USEM and went the EM direction.  It predates USEM by a month or two.  This build is a whole turn and a half faster than USEM, but obviously gives up EM potential.  I originaly posted in the old ttw thread and made this thread just so it would have a home for discussion and linking.

Would taking out an epi or two for 1 or 2 improved heals improve the EM rate while keeping good speed?
