And to be precise, a momentum+quint creature is also indestructible. (but yes, they are still harder to get than an indestructible permanent. Maybe that's why they're called permanents? =)

You should try to remove the periods that aren't in your card art image. (The yellow ones don't match)

(i.e. - ":earth :earth: Enchant Artifact. Target permanent becomes immaterial. Ability cost increased by :earth."

(I wish this belonged to another element besides Earth but... meh.)

Thanks for the tip! Updated.

I agree that it would be nice to give another element this mechanic instead. There are two reasons why I didn't:

-I think the card's fluff matches earth very well. (Digging out another wing to add to your underground treasure vault =)
-This changes the game balance least. A deck will still need earth quanta if it's to protect its permanents.

-I suppose; that's a pretty hilarious way of thinking about it though. :P Since when did Elements get a 'bank'?
-True, and agreed. The 'increased ability cost' mechanic also makes more sense, but again, it's still pretty potent in a rainbow deck (compared to a few PA's)

I like the card concept, I for one would consider something like this:

:earth
Treasure room
This card can't be targeted by spells, permanents or abilities (=immaterial)
for 1 :earth target permanent becomes immaterial for 3 turns.

Basically you would have to pay 1  :earth every turn, to protect maximum 3 permanents.

Upgraded version:
:earth
Treasure room
This card can't be targeted by spells, permanents or abilities (=immaterial)
for 1 :earth target permanent becomes immaterial for 5 turns.

Basically you would have to pay 1  :earth every turn, to protect maximum 5 permanents.

Hmm, I didn't quite have a bank in mind; more like a dungeon or a castle. =)

I love it, I just plain love it, it might actually be a bit useful in a lot of Mono decks.  Give it a pinch of Earth by using the mark and a few pendulums and you got some nice permanent protection.

I find an Anubis-like permanent needed, though I guess it could perhaps be a duo card as is Anubis himself.
Rule #1: The Captain is never wrong.  Rule #2: If the Captain is wrong, refer to Rule #1.
