- There Can Be Only One has concluded with kaempfer13 being the only one left alive after some massive battles between participants. Congratz on the win in this mighty PvP event!
- War 12 applications have opened up and are currently looking for participants for this annual event. Go now and apply while there is still time, and apply as a substitue if you are interested and have missed the deadline.
- The PvP World Championships will be beginning in January, which means this is your last month to get points for qualifications into this event. Go now and play some weekly tourneys, join in some leagues games, or any other way you can find to get those last few extra points. If you are unsure of your current qualification points for the PvP WC, check out the most updated list of points for players.
- Have you ever had a great idea for a new PvP Event? Post your rule sets in the PvP Event Ideas section, and let the PvPEMs know about your great idea so they can provide feedback and potentially run it if possibly.

- When the urge to both write a story and build some decks arises, combo competitions are great opportunities for these urges to be satisfied. Grab a team and check out the Matter of Logistics Competition which brings to life the many questions about war in the elemental realms and the armies that are needed for it.
- Stay in touch with the competition section by signing up for the Competition Mailing List! It will guarantee you getting notified whenever there's a new competition going, so you can begin right away!

- Balance is but the best way to the soul. On November 11, Zen was a tournament all about balancing equal numbers of perms, spells, and creatures in decks. Conratz to shockcannon on the win.
- Halloween came late this year to the forums. November 18th tournament was all about Dancing of the Dead, where players built decks around 5 pre-selected Halloween themed elements. Congratz to kaempfer13 on the win.
- "Are you ready to battle?" "Of course, I'm in a tank!" Players built decks based around 1 of 3 sets of special rules for tank based combat in November 24th's World of Tanks, Congratz to Submachine on the win.

- Leagues 3/2018 is currently underway with multiple players battling it out in a free-for-all style event. The current leaderboard has worldwideweb3, phoenix1211, and kaempfer13 in the top 3 spots, but with almost 2 months left to go the standings could change drastically. Also a special mention to phoenix1211 having the most games currently at 32.
- If you want to discuss anything exciting going on in leagues, or you want to post specific rules you want others to challenge you with go post some stuff in the General Discussion thread. Additionally don't forget about the weekly featured rules that bring new and exciting forced metas by the League Organizers.

It is the element that I feel I cannot ever get bored with. I enjoy everything in it, and when in doubt, always go back to it.

For my speedrunning, I'd enjoy a flash cart for my NES and a capture card, to allow streaming from console rather on emulator. What kind of gift would i give to people around the forum? Probably online multiplayer games to enjoy together.
