Greetings Treldon and the community,

I'm ddevans, member of the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 10th Councils, as well as former Warmaster, former Tournament Organizer, and current Competition Organizer, Social Network Manager, and Chat Moderator. In over 5 years, I have served in those roles, contributed to several sections of the forums in minor capacities, and have been present and devoted to the community as much as possible for large portions of my time here.

For the 11th Council, if elected, I intend to build upon the work done by the 10th Council and other staff members by proposing systems to streamline and improve staff work, creating cooperative bridges between sections of the community, and increasing communication between various groups of members, with the overall goals of limiting strife and inefficiency.

I look forward to seeing the work of the 11th Council, with hope that the community feels that I should be a part of it.

First off, I'd like to start off with some simple reasons in why I believe I'd make a good council member. As most already know, I attempted to apply for 10th council, and didn't make it. Now I'd like to try again, this time perhaps with more reason. First off, I am a responsible, mature member that is capable of quite a bit. As a Newsletter Writer, I've done the best I can possibly do, and hopefully I can reach for even higher goals. I am a hard worker, and very careful in what I do. Out of the six months 10th council operated, I've grown quite a bit, and matured even more. Now that I have the experience of what it's like working as a staffer, I intend to make work for future staffers fun, easy, and as productive as I can. I intend to do everything in my power to make the forums and fun and friendly place for everyone. I wish to do the very best for the community. Hello all!

I'm Hyroen, a member of the community since as early as April 2010. I have seen the community evolve over the past 5 years and knowing how much the community has been an awesome part of my life I want to ensure that it can be as much as it was for me, for others, and thus I am sure that I can contribute to its evolution, growth and success.

Please consider the following in your vote:

• Member of Council II and Council VI.
• Served twice as Card Curator.
• Inspired the change for a new Cygnia board.
• Served as one of the first Guildmasters.
• Creator of Languages Spoken in the Community.
• Inspired the html function [pmstaff].

As long as the game continues to be without updates, creativity and a desire to see it grow will burn with an even greater fire. As such, it is very useful to have at least one Council Member who has strong ties to the section of Card Ideas & Art. My current position and knowledge of CI&A allows me to provide a unique perspective from within Council on any projects in the works and suggest new ones which focus on the progression of Cygnia, Card Ideas & Art and the forums in general. I have projects in mind to help members learn, grow and have fun all at the same time, while allowing members to reach and exceed their potential and I look forward to being able help the forums continue to evolve, grow and succeed in all its efforts.

1. Requirements:

I meet all of the relevant requirements to be considered for council.

1. Joined the forum no less than 3 months ago. I have been on and off around the forum for 5 years. Since one year ago, I have been an intensely active member of the community, and I have no plans to leave or drop in activity.
2. Full Member (200+ posts). Just about.
3. Reliability and maturity are essential. Unless a dramatic event occurs, I have always made deadlines and engagements. I have never failed to show up for a booked PvP game, for example. My maturity varies depending on how much i have had to drink, but I am always respectful of others, and am extremely good at being a calming, diplomatic influence. Boobies.

2. Why I wish to apply:

I think that I have been an active member of the community for a long enough time, and I am ready, and familiar enough with the community to enjoy a post in Council as an equal. While a lot of what the Council have done in recent months has been good, there have been some decisions by council which I have criticised at times. I am not a person who will stand back and criticise without trying to help. In the same way I feel that those who don't vote shouldn't complain about what decisions the government make, I feel that I should apply if i wish to have a say in the community.

3. Why you should want me:

I am an extremely cheerful person and I have been told I am great to work with. I enjoy collaboration, diplomacy, and problem solving. I never rage out, always trying to be a calming influence, and I believe the council needs people like me to make the community a peaceful, enjoyable place to be. Having said that, I am not passive, and will always speak my mind if I think an issue needs dealing with, always ready to give constructive criticism, without being in any way patronising or hurtful. Finally, I am a well liked member of the community (god knows why), and I believe I can help to bridge the relationship between the council and the community, which is something I think has been neglected in the past, and sometimes makes non-council community members feel out-of-the-loop.

Hello, I'm majofa.

I've been with the Element's community for quite some time, and have been on the Council for a while, as well.  I'm applying to Council to continue in helping the community wherever I can. I have never gone missing since I've been on the Council and don't intend to any time soon. A lot of stuff has happened recently that made a lot of people want to leave, but I guarantee I will still be here.

I look forward to working with whomever gets elected (provided I get reelected) to help improve things wherever possible.

(Hopefully people don't get to discouraged by the War events and still apply)

Hello Current Council and Community Members,

I would like to apply for one of the 11th Elements Council positions by explaining what I have done and what I can bring to the next council.

- Currently I am a staff member as a Tournament Organizer helping to continually create, balance, and run the weekly tournaments with my fellow TOs Ginyu, and MeowMeowCat. Transferable duties include organizing, meeting deadlines, and creativity for new and exciting ideas.

-  Having participated in multiple Wars and signed up as a Brawl Boss for the upcoming Brawl #5, I can bring with me a good team player, and someone who is willing to put in his effort and fulfill his part in the team.

-  I have explored  and participated in many parts of the forum including Forum Games, to PvP Events, to Competitions and can bring with me a well rounded member with some knowledge of multiple areas.

- If you question my reliability in regards to a spot on the council, hopefully any of my previous War Teammates, fellow Tournament Organizers, or other friends who know me can help reassure you of my abilities.

As I'm sure you've noticed, my name is MeowMeowCat, and I've been a part of the Elements Community forums for just a bit over a year. In my, short compared to others, time here, I've noticed some things that could definitely be improved on the forums, and I believe that voting me to be a part of the 11th Elements Council can help me help you guys have a better experience on the forums. Without further delay, let me give you the details on why I am qualified for Elements Council.

Why should you vote for me to be in the 11th Elements Council?

• My charisma & and enthusiasm

I'm a very charismatic person, and that, combined with my character, makes me easy to work with, and keeps spirits high when I'm around. This is a good thing, because higher morale/spirits within Council can likely lead to less stress on Council Members, thus, more work will be done in a positive manner. As for my enthusiasm, it can be demonstrated within my work as a Tournament Organizer. I am enthusiastic about my work, and I believe that it shows. An example of this is the new Tournament rewards, in which I was the main driving force behind. I suggested and helped implement the new rewards within 2 months of being instated as a Tournament Organizer.

• My activity

My activity is only rivaled by AveragePotato. I log in for many hours a day, (about 8, Elements is my full time job ), which is necessary to keep active within the Council, to do my job to the best capability that I can. An inactive council is one of the worst things that could happen to these forums, so I'd like to keep the chances of that as low as they can be.

• My view on transparency

Transparency is something that is very high on my priority list, as I believe it is very important. There are some things in place to help aide this cause, and I want to further it. Some people don't know what Council even does, aside from staff hirings, so I'd like to alleviate all those curiosities, by attempting to bring more transparency to Council.

Being a member of council has been and hopefully will continue to be one of my favorite ways to serve the elements community. I'm well versed in several sections of the forums, and have even tried to get into the PvP scene to broaden my skill base.
