We can choose 1 stance per tile. Does that stance persist so long as we stay on the tile?

Say I use Action 1 to move onto a tile with the Defend stance. Then I don't do any further movement.
If Alice uses Fight on me during Action 1, I reflect the damage.
If Bob uses Fight on me during Action 2, do I reflect the damage, or just stand there and let them hit me like a fool?

The stance only persists for that -MOVEMENT- specifically. Example:

Assuming everyone starts on the same tile-

Your moves: Move South + Defense Stance, no other actions (2 AP)
Alice's moves: Move South + Assault stance (3 AP)
Bob's moves: Move Southeast, Move West + Fight (1 + 2 = 3 AP)

You reflect damage immediately from Alice's moves; she gets stunned, and you don't take damage on that movement. HOWEVER, when Bob enters, you take damage from him, because your stance only lasted for the first movement (while all other movements that take place for other players, you're in 'No Stance' mode by technicality).

Spoiler for ignore please:
Cheers for the response - that makes sense.

Another question that's probably been asked before - can I choose to Do Nothing on one action, then move on the next? For example:

ActionAlice's MoveMy Move
1Movement NE, Explore(nothing) or Wait or Delay or something
2Movement NE, InvestigateMovement SW, Defend
3No AP remainingMovement SW, No Stance

Would that work? Or would it just come out as

ActionAlice's MoveMy Move
1Movement NE, ExploreMovement SW, Defend
2Movement NE, InvestigateMovement SW, No Stance
3No AP remainingNo AP remaining

EDIT: Actually no that can't be a thing - people would just Wait for 3 turns then roam around attacking those who didn't wait and hence can't defend themselves

You thought you were 'safe'.

You thought you could simply leave with all these wonderful gifts that were taken by your masters, your cities, your nations?

...you were wrong.

And as the pink walls began to pulse ever so harder, you notice something moving; you hear sounds from the corners of the dungeon, three separate voices from each of them, all trying to converse. Were they arguing? Screaming? Crying? Laughing?

Something is coming soon.

Check the other tabs for other useful information regarding your Basic Actions, Relic Precedence, and notes of the overall game!

Tips and General Info:

What is an 'antighost', you may ask? Or the inclusion of 'antiaverage' instead of dworthy (who I've removed due to inactivity)? What is a '☄'?! Let me explain ;) :

Had you people worked faster to obtain the 'Skull of Haunts', antiaverage would be given minor reign of controlling the :death ghosts movements to however he wished. Of course, because of time constraints (or time complaints?), and your guys' general "laid-back ness", the game has basically reached its midpoint, so the boss (antiaverage) has finally revealed its ethereal head.

Think of this event as '13 ghosts' (see the terrible film). There are 13 ghosts now summoned with the dungeon, with the exception that ONE of them can be damaged and killed normally like a regular player to kill all other ghosts (the original "conjurer", essentially). On Day 17, antiaverage will enter the game at any tile he chooses as a "normal" player, with the exception that he has 12 ghosts to control, and other restrictions both based on his 'win condition' (i.e. - he is not playing to collect relics) as well as his mechanics (limited movement and actions).

An antighost is essentially a unique "ghost" (technically) that can move around in the environment. Their symbol is " ☄ ". Here are their features:
  • All ghosts can only move 2 tiles per turn in any direction, similar to the 'ghost' summoned by the Legendary Skull of Haunts.
  • Ghosts cannot move into any 'O' (opening) tile, as they are bounded within the Relic Maze dungeon
  • Ghosts cannot interact with any switches, use any fountain, nor pick up any relic or key. Their stances are always 'No Stance'.
  • Ghosts (NOT the boss) are immune to damage, including damage from traps, weapons, stances, and other effects.
  • Ghosts may bypass and enter '#' (wall) tiles and exit them.
  • A new ghost may be summoned when two players are killed.
  • Ghosts will either disappear upon having its host killed (antiaverage), or entering the same tile that a player enters. The player and the ghost in the latter case both die.

Oh I'm sorry, let me restate that: if you and any ghost enter the same tile, you and the ghost both DIE.

...prepare accordingly people. :-X

How is ghost movement determined? Also, will each ghost stalk a respective player (4 active players would be left without respective ghosts) or will they move randomly?

Instead of summoning exactly 12 ghosts, I suggest summoning 1 ghost on each non-stunned player's current tile where they are standing. Of course, they would only materialize and become active on the 17th day. When the main ghost would arrive, I wouldn't really let him be placed wherever he wishes, because that can be influenced by many human factors. I'd rather have him to be summoned on, e.g: the largest unexposed area on the map, or make him replace one of the previously placed ghosts, or just make it fully random.
And we keep driving into the night

[16:09:27] antiaverage [ยป] Submachine: Kuro asked me if I would help, I said I would, although I haven't heard from him yet on details

For now even anti doesn't know what will exactly happen. Kuro is very secretive~
I still think that there should either be equal as many ghosts as players or all current ghosts should start haunting clockwise/counterclockwise to equally distribute them.
And we keep driving into the night
