I <3 Psion (a.k.a. psion plethora) [Bronze]/[AI3] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=43025.msg536156#msg536156
« on: August 24, 2012, 11:31:41 am »
I've been in love with aether since I joined elements, I tried various mono decks, but almost no one considered the new guy, psion.
I started with a for fun psion deck, but it works well in ai3 and with broze is better. (people all around, how many times have you read something similar to this?).
here is it:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61u 622 625 625 625 625 625 625 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80i 8pu

this is how I use it, but I'm sure it will work more than good unupped too. by the way, some upped pillars/pendulums can add something cool. lobo is not this necessary, I think.
I'll be happy if someone would help me with stats.
TTW around 10
p.s. the blank cards are the psions. guessed? hats off for you.

Recluses are better than psions if you can afford upping them.

Overall I definitely agree with you.

However, specifically for bronze, the psions might work better, if only to beat the mono-aether decks in bronze.

These mono-aethers have lightnings too. Psions can easily get killed by these.

So can spiders.  Actually, spiders can also get RoF'd in bronze too, but when you're fractaling either, single-target CC doesn't matter as much.

I'm sure of that, it's a mono-aether that wins every match against aether.
yah, recluses are cheap and maybe better fracted, but i like the momentum-like(yes,yes spell damage) psion effect, the resistance to rain of fire :D.
other pros you can find here http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,39366.0.html [nofollow] that has been linked to me.

I agree.
The  :aether may be the best monodeck solution.

lobo is not this necessary, I think.

I haven't tested it, but I think Lobo could be more useful than you think. Against Mono-Aether it's pretty weak, but here's a few uses it might have one day:

- Remove momentum
- Remove your own Psions' abilities (in case of Reflect shield)
- Nerf a Growth creature
- Nerf a Firefly Queen / Pharoah (5 scarabs would be bad news for you!)
