Is there a level limit?  In the rules, the table of experience goes up to level 24, but does not mention that that is the maximum level possible, or that there is one possible at all.  I was figuring until a team member pointed it out, that the max level was 40, since we are given a total space of 41 skills, including marks.

Hmm... am I the only one who thinks that Iron Bird Pilot should give you the card Iron Bird? Meybe a card that gives a 200 HP boost? With some sweet affects too... we wouldn't want the card to be underpowered

Most likely, yes.

24 is max. IF you do not believe me, try to enter a big number in the XP cell in your Character Sheet.

1. Skills you have. For each skill you have from a specific element, you gain one additional upgraded cards (plus any ups that skill might give you). Marks are only exception because they give you 3 upgraded cards from that element.

How many upgrades (if any) do you get for having Mark of Underworld?  and which element will they be?

If I recall correctly, they get 'Other' upgrades, and only one from the mark.

Can you buy shield/rare weapon/alchemy cards or do you make them with skills?

You can buy them at the respective element merchant, not the neighboring merchants by the way, since they only sell the neighboring common cards.
