Yes, you can still take and complete that quest.

How exactly does "work" work? I used the action last turn, but since no electrum is automagically added yet I assume I'll have to add it myself, but how much am I allowed to add? I know it has something to do with land owned and players on the team and such, but I can't find any specific details (not to mention things like whether fractions are rounded up or down).

Only problem is, you weren't in a town or city when you used the action "work" wich makes it illegal...

Does the "Bonus XP and Reputation" section apply to both winners and losers? I had been assuming it was winners only, but looking at it again it looks like it applies to both (meaning if you bring a mono deck for example, then you can get +1xp and rep of your element even if you lose.
Is that correct?

No. As it says under the tables:

If you lose a battle, you won't get any bonuses but you will suffer the penalties.

Ah I see what the problem was. The table is listed in two places. Under "Battle" it makes it look like bonus xp always applies, but under "deckbuilding" it clarifies that it's just winners.
