WoE logo

I was bored so I decided to play around with Photoshop a bit and make a logo for WoE. This is something I've been meaning to do a while now, because I think that slapping the same logo to everything will make everything fit better together, plus it might look cool.

Here's what I produced.

It's not perfect yet, but the overall style is pretty close to what I was looking for. I'll probably add all elemental icons to that image in the sides. I also might change the shape into something that looks more like a tribal tattoo.

If you are bored like I was, feel free to post your WoE logo and let the best logo win.

It's great, but looks like it's leaning toward one element since its colors are blueish, and the gold doesn't help that much.

So I was thinking make all the letters be colored like an element.  there are 13 letters in World Elements so that's the 12 elements and other (or UW).  I made a really cheap fast version to exemplify the idea.

Well, the problem is that once you start using more than 3 colors in a logo, it starts to look like crap. If you look at all the popular logos, most of them have only 1-2 colors besides black and white. Google is one exception because they survive with a horrible logo with too many colors, but they are Google and they can do whatever they want.

I'm pretty sure that it would be too colorful and would look like crap. I can test it. It's funny how there are exactly 13 letters when not using "of". In that sense it would work perfectly.

I added a spray of color to each one, and I don't think it's too colorful.

A logo is a nice touch. I'm definitely a fan of the third "simplified" version. It looks quite professional in quality. I agree that adding additional colors tends to subtract from the aesthetic appeal.

That, is a pretty cool look. Still missing the tribal tatto look though..Maybe 14 different logos, one universal one, and one for each of the elements and Underworld.

Oooh, I like that last one. Sorry that I don't share your view of colorfulness being bad, but I am a fan of rainbow things...it's pretty easy to see that.
