and are not at war. People just assume so because that's how it worked in alpha. Elements do not go to War because of an isolated incident. It requires a bit more which will be explained later.


Tip to everyone:
Just because something happened in alpha, doesn't mean it will happen in beta as well. Forget everything you learned in alpha and concentrate only on what is said in Day topics.

Do players who join after the start of the event have to manually train their tier 1 skill and use up an action point?

Good question.

Just pick a skill like others did previously. No need to use an action for it.

How did Youngsot gain a level?
He's showing some strange behaviour wich suggests he used his Stone of Return. I do not see the light hex he occupied neutralized however, so I wonder how he managed to get to level 2?

Hmm well I traveled to the hex (not real sure which one it was) and used the capture action. It should have been neutralized. I guess I was more interested in figuring out my next move at the time, and didn't check to make sure it worked properly.

And yeah it was a stone of return that got me back up to the center of the map.

We don't gain exp by capturing (And/or neutralizing) hexes, do we? If so, where was this mentioned?

And, if not, how had YS leveled up?

The "expand borders" quest rewards you with 2xp (3 for UW) if you capture a hex.
