Each player is given a personal "Vault" of non-upgraded cards, also known as Starter Deck. During deckbuilding, players have the option to temporarily upgrade any of the cards they own. The number of upgraded cards they can use during a battle, depends on what skills they have and what battle stance the player and his or her opponent currently has. After a battle, all upgraded cards are returned to the Vault as non-upgraded.

After the battle, those upgraded cards return to non-upgraded.
well i suggest it shouldnt say i own 4 upgraded cards then.. or have something saying you can USE up to 4 for next battle.. little misleading is all.

Does screwing the king take any action points? if so, I don't know if it's worth the effort.
