Skills
You start the event with a mark of your element (tier 1 skill) and one other skill from your element. For each level you gain, you get one additional skill. So if you are at level 6, your total number of skills will be 7.

Starting from level 2, you can pick skills from any of the 13 skill trees, but you need to find a trainer who is able to teach you that skill.


Common ways to get XP:

ActionXP gained
Kill a lower level player2
Kill a player of same level3
Kill a higher level player4
Easy quest6
Medium quest9
Difficult quest12

Not sure if this final or not.

I used a very simple system of adding +2 for leveling up requirement for each level.

+2
+4
+6
+8
etc.

Looks okay to me.  I guess we'll find out if this is good after the beta ... hopefully.

hmm i'd say +3 level up requirement per round make it a bit more challenging

Based on the current leveling system, quests could be like this:

Easy: 2-4 experience points
Medium: 5-8 experience points
Hard: 9-16 experience points
Insane/Epic: ???

This way, Easy quests will help out people in the beginning, but later it, other harder quests might provide more incentive for those who have more skills/cards...

We should recalculate this. If I play WoE like a warrior and I defeat a higher level player every single round, it would take me more than a year to reach level 20. And if skills are still 1 per 100xp then I'd only have 4 skills.

You should be doing quests. Quests will give more XP.

My bad. You're right skills has always been +1 per level. But the original leveling requirements was 100xp per level. Got mixed up in my head lol.

Ah.. that. Yeah, it was just some random number I posted randomly somewhere. It was never supposed to be 100xp per level. Leveling up requirements should always increase as you gain levels.
