I did already send a PM to SG about this, but I just wanted to cover all my bases and post here too.

I would love to be a Designer and Tester for WoE. I recently joined the forums, but I can assure you that I am very active, and am on every day. I live in the US, so my English is good, and I have a lot of free time to burn by testing/designing battle mechanics. I am beta testing and helping with the creation of another RPG on a separate forum,so I have knowledge on how to spot the flaws, design, and test battles for WoE.

I'd gladly join in the creative stages.  I've been around since early April and have seen this game go from 'fun side project' to 'overwhelming popularity' and I for one am VERY glad for it.  While I am not as active on the forums or chat room as some of the others, I do play nearly every day and have seen the changes from 'simple fun game' to 'expansive interactive community and game'.

I enjoy making maps, as my lone artistic expression.  I can send you some of the maps I've done for my novels (ok, so I can write a little bit) as an example of the kind of world maps I have done.  I am not great as far as city maps go, but I can definitely help someone create theirs.  If you need maps changed, adjusted or modified, that's no issue as I've got experience changing my own maps around due to changes caused by the narrative.  I am not a CODER, but I work primarily freehand and in Photoshop to create my maps.  I've no idea how to convert that into computer-speak.  :)

I can also help with writing (Native English speaker and my grammar and spelling are quite good).  I've got several short stories written and several novels in the work (none published yet), so I can provide a sample of my writing if you would like.

As an avid reader, I can safely say my work is not derivative and it is always unique.  I always try to stay away from cliche`, stereotypical plots and characters, and as a role-player with well over 20 years of experience, I can bring my unique characterizations to characters, NPC's, and cities/countrysides as needed.  I can modify and change my writing as needed, and I am used to collaborating artistic endeavors and coordinating groups of people to reach a common (often creative) goals.

If you're looking for 'idea men' who can come up with plots, characters, places, worlds, etc...I'm your man!

If you want a programmer, deck builder, number cruncher, or milkman, I'm afraid I won't be very good.

Correction to that. There will be another 12-18 hour delay. I've been doing other things today and I'm so dead tired that I cannot think straight. I'll start this big project tomorrow when by brain again works at an acceptable level, rather then do it now as a zombie and fail.

I want to be a writer! Please?

Here's a sample of what I can do.

Final Quest: The Oracle :fire

New Goal: Talk to the Oracle

:rainbow racle: You have grown in much power. It's time to teach you the nymph of your element.

You: Thank you, Oracle. What must I do?

:rainbow racle: You must go to the Underworld and steal the Lava Container. Come back when you have completed this mission.

Goal Complete: Talk to the Oracle.

New Goal: Steal the Lava Container in the Underworld.

And that's what I can do. By the way, the above is just a quick sneak peak of the final quest. There is one for each element. That would be part of the :fire one.

I would like to apply for three jobs, in order of most to least wanted:
1. City Designer
2. Artist
3. Deckbuilder

I would be a good city designer because I am very familiar with "medieval fiction", with taverns, shops, trading places, castles, quest givers, and whatnot. I'm also good with theme, so I could make each element's cities represent that element and be unique from other cities.

My art is rather cartoon-ish, but I am creative and good with photoshop. I'm not sure exactly what kind of art will be needed, but I should be able to come up with something that portrays it decently. Here is a fire demon I drew:

I'm not the best deckbuilder; I don't always make decks that run smoothly or win easily, but with a bit of testing and tweaking, I can at least get them to be playable with a fighting chance. However, again, I am good with theme, so I could make decks that really fit with whatever NPC is using them.

For all three jobs, I would be good because I am very active on the forums. I am here at least once a day, but usually multiple times at various hours during the day. Also, I would not abandon my position halfway through.

If more than one role can be assigned to a person, I can take any two, except both artist and deckbuilder.

No offense, but that looks like a fire "rabbit".

None taken. But I think you underestimate the evil side of rabbits.

No offense, but that's not much. I can easily come up with that and write it in less than 5 minutes.

I'm not saying you're not a good writer. I'm simply saying that writing something like that isn't as great an accomplishment as you may think.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Unfortunately, most RPG quests go just like that. (at least, the ones that I've experienced)

I was really tired when I wrote that. I could do better.
