I decided to break down the battle mechanics because it's such a big part of this event.

Battle Mechanics:
Winning and losing a duel

Winner
Winner starts a new topic in the "Battle Results" section. That topic includes:
- deck used
- short description of the battle (optional)

Winner will salvage any 6 cards from the losing deck.

Loser
Loser posts his/her deck on the "Battle Results" topic started by the winner.

Loser will discard any 12 cards from his/her deck.

Loser "dies" which means that he is removed from the event for one turn. The next turn the loser restart in the nearest ally city/town of the place where he/she died. This is a similar system used in most MMORPG's.

So what happens when the person has less than 30 cards and not enough money to buy more?

Maybe his friends can donate him some cards or something... OR, if they don't want to/can't, he's out for, say, 3-5 turns and then respawns to his element's capital city, with the default deck.

Players start off with 40 cards and some cash that they can use to buy even more cards. Also they get some revenue each turn so your "Vault" gets bigger even if you do nothing.

If you have only 30 cards in your own personal "Vault" going out to pick a fight might be a risky move because if you lose, you might be out for several rounds.

But that's a risk people have to face. Unless we put up some kind of a trading system (a topic or something) like xdude sugested. But that would take another organizer- or just the main one should do it.

There will be a trading system. That was the plan right from the start. But you cannot trade if you don't have anything to trade with. Dragoon is talking about a situation where you have no cards and no money, so trading is not really an option unless you sell yourself as a slave or something.

I'd say you should be able to have donations. They are cool :)

No, but you might want to help your teammates.

Why? That would only mean less blood for me. Anyways, I'm going to- sacrafice my self and be an organizer that can't participate.
