WoE will have special items that characters can use. They can give some kind of buffs, help you move around the map etc.

One important thing about these special items is that they should be different from Elements cards, otherwise it will get confusing. This means that for example swords and shields are probably a bad idea because Elements already has those. Best items are probably things like potions, rings, etc.

I will slowly add more stuff to the list.

We have 3 item levels. Level 1 items can be bought at a merchant. Level 2 items can be crafted, or bought at a merchant with a higher price. Level 3 items can only be obtained as quest rewards.

Those are actual cards that we will be using in the event as actual cards. We cannot use them as items as well. :)

Medium cost
*We can have Sacks for every element with 6 of some notable card that enables players building new type of deck. They are temporary, help for players. Explosions, Poison, Lightning, Heal, etc can be used here. After a loss, item is lost + cards are discarded from remaining of the deck (as these cards were never part of your "vault"), so its pretty risky for players to buy Sacks, but gives them options in building counter decks.

First off - I wish I read this thread earlier. ^^; Secondly; I support Malduk's idea of bonus items that allow for dynamic deck-building and Kami's idea of improving items. :)

Made some changes to the first post. Simple is better.

Currently the plan looks to be that there will be 39 different items, 3 items per element.

I'm thinking about a item for every elements that allows you to use 6 upped cards from that element. Works only for one round. You can't use two items of the same elements at the same round. You cant use more than two items of these. 1 AP for using.  A special for  :underworld : you have choose six different cards form six different elements.

The item can be named e.g. Stone of X element or so....

One thing that wasn't mentioned in the rules..

For each skill point you spend on a specific skill tree, you get to use one upped card from the element of that skill tree.

So if I have 6 points in :life skills, I get to use 6 upped cards (plus what the skills might have).

This in mind, I don't think that an item like that is needed.

Yes, Marks are skills, so you get that +1 upped card when taking a Mark.
