This all goes. -2 Purify, -4 Tears, -2 Shield, -5 Squid. WE MUST ALSO DECIDE ON 2 ADDITIONAL DISCARDS. I suggest 2 adrenaline, as if we want to run adrennapuffers we can do it with nymphs.

We can save 8 cards. Save 2 toads, 3 crawlers, 2 grabbys, 1 congeal. this reduces us to 1 nova deck, but keeps grabbow an option and saves our water creatures.

The dragons are useful if we do an entropy domin, and because they are creatures, which we are insanely low on. if we don't feel like pandemonium (which could be nice in an entropy duo) then we could transmute the other 2 for a toad, crawler or tear.

So with the event card, we can afford to use things that might be slightly more RNGy.

I would like to use UGNymphDials against Light, if we are not using grabbow or PDials elsewhere.

I also think we should use NymphCord, and a deck with sideboard, both of which can benefit from re-starting due to bad hand.

UPDATE: The below set-up seems to fit with everyone's opinions. Some decks are slightly wonky with creatures, but that is unavoidable, as they use ALL of our main attacking creatures. yeah.

Going to try something different for this round. To really get us to thinking about matchups early, I will post my ideas in deck form now, so we have time to critique them, and THINK OF PROBLEMS.

It is vitally important, however, that you do not take these as the decks we will run. PLEASE say your ideas for match-ups the same as you would before, and please think of all the possible problems with the decks I post. The only reason I am doing this before hearing all ideas is so that we have something on the table. It is very easy to change these ideas.

This should now be balanced, quanta wise. It only needs (and needs is a strong word) 1 pend in starting hand, after that any pend is wasted quanta. 6 pends is now the amount in deck and that feels much nicer in testing. Again, benefits from EC.

Pdials option. It's a tough deck to test because it's pretty poor against anything that isn't aether, but should work against Psiontal and dim spam.

Patient devs. I like this, but if we wish to use this elsewhere, we could salvage 2 pandemoniums, and run an entropy duo with butterfly effect, Antimatter and pande. Can't see that being particularly reliable however.

I agree with Dd that reflectives should be highly considered vs Aether - But I love Nymphcord as well.

Another Flayer-type deck for Life?

Light (JCJ v hain)
Unless we're fearing a wild Mirror (or even Reflective!)-based deck or Tinkerer is required somewhere else (which is probable, since I've got nothing to say against pitting our Tinkerer DeVamPatience against Air), I'm inclined to Unstable Nymphs (although Blue Nymphs still have some decent direct offensive presence). If Tinkerer is required somewhere else, though, gotta run something else ^^;

Aether (Rulac v US1990)
Nymphcord (Requires Lieutenant, Upgrades, or two downgraded cards): If we can afford it to lessen RNG reliance, I'm thinking of swapping one Toadfish for another NT (probably not, since our NT stock isn't really safe). Otherwise, cool as is.
Poison Dial (Requires Mercenary): ... (couldn't think of a comment)

Life (Gen. dd v ESR)
*checks Vault -> swears silently for our lack of mass creature control methods, particularly Flooding (a decent anti-Fractal measure)*
Too bad Life's more wide than tall (and don't let me get into FrogTal or the likes!), which makes Serpentine not an option if that deck's not used elsewhere.
Couldn't think of any new discussion material, unfortunately.

Time (me v Gen. Spike)
Somehow, I'm inclined to Serpentine 'em if that's not used elsewhere and we don't expect them to GhostMare us. (PC would be essential to dismantle an already-established Serpentine. CP Dune can't afford to include BE in it, Momentum Dune must resort to (preferably upped) Shards of Focus, and as for Explosions ... I couldn't think of a Time/Fire synergy that doesn't involve Grabbows.) I mean, the things worth Fractalling for them (Dragons and Ghosts) are rather expensive for Fractal material ... which makes me suddenly shivers for the possibility that they'll throw a GhostMare-brand curveball on us when we're anticipating their stall.

Air (Spiel v Gen. Afda)
As I said up there on Light, nothing to say against DeVamPatience ... assuming we can afford to fix the Tinkerer there.

At any rate, prayer and dinner breaks notwithstanding, I'd expect myself to be available on my usual times (that is, 1800-2200 UTC+7/1100-1500 UTC) for testing. I've got nothing against the term GMT, but I found expressing British Summer Time as equivalent to GMT+1 a bit awkward when Greenwich itself also observes British Summer Time.

Unstable Nymphs vs. Light is a hit or miss. A single Mirror Shield could shut us down(althought as Bas said - Air Nymphs do have some good attacks - Simply dont blow gasses  ) So, I suppose it's still a very good option to consider.

Nymphcord vs Aether is also a hit or miss, and pretty RNGy against them. If they do run MonoAether we need an early discord. This also means they're packing lobos and/or lightnings for SoFos. I do think it is a strong option to consider though.

Life. Again I will throw out the same as earlier: What about a Flayer type deck? Would stop Mitosis, Scorps(poison), Adrenastaves, etc. If we can't run it, then Air Domin sounds super solid.

Time Gen Spike. Incoming Grabbow.. Hrm, Can't think of much here. Anyone?

And Air: DeVamPatience looks like a good deck to throw at them. Plenty of denial and offense.

I'm really in favor of of PDials against Aether. Nymphcord stands a chance against dims but a lot of other things would give it trouble. I'd actually rather run it against Light, because they're not likely to run sanc, and nothing else they have would work well against it.

For Life I'm thinking either Swallow or SoP Flayers, if we don't use SoP Devs against Air, although if we can put together an air domin I'd be okay with that as well. I don't see any other alternatives for Air though, although if we could run a 3 steal version somehow I'd be happier with that.

For Time, Serpentine seems like a good option.

I think it is unavoidable, we must transmute some creatures from the Entropy deck. We are really painfully low.

I question whether the Nymphcord needs so much gravity quanta. I'd either take one out or put in more pends, swapping water pends for pillars to keep the 6.

For my deck, I'd prefer to have 2+ wings, or 0. Given that saving 2 probably isn't viable, I'd say replace the wings with a shockwave.

For serpentine/nymphcord, we could run crawlers in Nymphcord, unupgrading some quanta, and then run toadfish in Serpentine, freeing upgrades for dragons.

For Air I'd still want 3 steals, but if not, this will work.

Nymphcord really feels light on gravity in playing as it is, especially as it wants to ideally have 4 gravy constructs by the time you use one to make a nymph. It is very close to the build you used in trials final 8, and the shards are unupped in this deck which puts a further strain on gravy.

The other changes I will make, other than 3 steals in the air deck, because i can't see anything I'd want to take out, and i don't want to make it 31 cards with only 3 SoP
